Please be advised that following a recent back-end change, when creating an order for a passenger(s) containing a name length exceeding the Qatar Airways policy, Sellers (Trade Partners) may encounter an error: INVALID NAME LENGTH: ITEM TOO LONG / NOT ENTERED
There are a few ways this issue may be resolved.
- - Remove the date of birth when the Identity Document is not mandated by local regulation
- - Remove the title (however, please keep the gender code as it is a mandatory element)
- - Remove the adult’s middle name. Make sure the first and last names are filled as per passport
- - If the Order includes both an adult and infant, remove the infant’s middle name. Make sure the first and last names are filled as per passport
