Submission of Supporting Documents (Military)

Over the last few months, we have observed tremendous increase in the number of ADMs being raised due to the lack of timely submission of the necessary supporting documentation related to Military discount tickets despite email reminders from our Finance team. Furthermore, the ADMs are later disputed by providing necessary supporting documents. This is costing time and efforts for both airline and travel agents.

 

To avoid ADMs being raised and the subsequent inconvenience involved in disputing them, we would therefore like to remind you the following:

    • - To submit the correct and necessary supporting documentation immediately after ticket issuance.
    • - Supporting documentation to be sent to email id discsupportingrpu@qatarairways.com.qa
    • - Email subject to have: PNR and discount/tour code.

Example of email subject: “PNR-ABCDE6-QAKA” (where ABCDE6 are the 6 digits of the PNR and QAKA is the discount code applied for the ticket)

Effective ticket issuance of 15th May 2025, we will implement the below for strict adherence.

  • - A ‘service fee’ of QAR 30 will be charged for reversal of each ticket where valid supporting was not submitted as per above guidelines.

 

Note: For Retiree discount tickets, there is NO need to submit supporting documentation after ticket issuance. However, at the time of booking the PNR must be updated with the correct QID numbers (11 digits only) of the passenger.
