1. Qatar

Late autumn is the perfect time for a journey to Qatar, with warm daytime highs of 26–30°C and cooler evenings of around 20–22°C. With low humidity, you can comfortably explore Doha’s attractions like Souq Waqif. 3. France

In November, France is alive with autumn tones and crisp air. Take in the picturesque countryside scenery of Brittany and Normandy, which has inspired generations of artists. Paris is quieter at this time of year, giving you more space to meander through museums like the Louvre. Foodies can stop by the Dijon International Gastronomy Fair, while those seeking warmer weather can head south to the French Riviera, for tranquil beaches and laid-back dining at the shore.

4. Nepal

Nepal is one of the best places to visit in November, as the monsoon rains have ended and the dry season begins. With clear skies and pleasant weather, you can go trekking and hiking in the Himalayas. If you plan to hike near the capital city of Kathmandu, make your way to Phulchowki Hill, Jamacho Gumba or Tarebhir. In the lowlands, spot rhinos and tigers at the Chitwan and Bardiya National Parks. There are also hundreds of bird species, including the Bengal florican and Sarus crane.

5. Egypt

Egypt is an extraordinary destination, with mild days between 20°C and 28°C and clear desert nights ideal for stargazing. Roam around Cairo and its world-famous landmarks, from the Pyramids of Giza to the Great Sphinx, or travel south to see temples and ancient sites along the Nile. A major event on the November calendar is the Cairo International Film Festival, organised by Egypt’s Ministry of Culture and that takes place at the iconic Cairo Opera House. Warm waters also make the Red Sea wonderful for diving.
