1. SUMMARY

The QATAR AIRWAYS FORTNITE SOCIAL MEDIA CONTEST GIVEAWAYS (the “Sweepstakes”) are operated by Qatar Airways Group Q.C.S.C. at Level 19, 303 Collins St, Melbourne, VIC 3000 (the “Sponsor” or “Qatar Airways”). The Sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Meta or Instagram.‎ ‎The Sweepstakes and Prizes are subject to these Official Rules which form a legally binding agreement with respect to this Sweepstakes between the Sponsor and each individual who enters the Sweepstakes (the “Participant” or “you”).  Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with these rules (the “Official Rules”), you are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes or to win any of the Prizes.

2. ELIGIBILITY

2.1 NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.  A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT DOES NOT IMPROVE CHANCES OF WINNING.  The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents and citizens of Armenia, Australia (excluding Queensland and South Australia), Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belgium,  France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Japan, Jordan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Netherlands, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Tanzania, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States of America (each an “Eligible Country”), altogether “Eligible Countries”) who have reached the age of majority in their state/country of residence as of the date of entering the Sweepstakes, excluding those individuals referred to in Sub-Clause 2.3.  To be eligible the participant must: (i) have an active account on at least one of the relevant social media platforms listed below; and (ii) have their social media account privacy setting as “public” (i.e. not set as “hidden” or “private”) during the Sweepstakes Period (as referred to in clause 4.1).

2.2 By participating in the Sweepstakes, each participant (each a “Participant”) confirms that they meet all eligibility requirements in Sub-Clause 2.1 (the "Eligibility Requirements"). Each Participant confirms that they are legally able to collect the prize in the event their entry is selected.  Furthermore, each Participant confirms they are not prohibited or restricted from receiving such prizes, whether individually, geographically, or by virtue of relationships or group affiliation, by the government of any country whose residents are eligible to participate in this Sweepstakes.

2.3 Employees, officers, directors and agents of Qatar Airways and each of their related bodies corporate, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings and children, grandparents, first cousins or similar relations) and household members are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes.

3. AGREEMENT TO RULES

3.1 All Participants must comply with these Official Rules. You agree that registration for this Sweepstakes and/or a submission of an entry in the Sweepstakes constitutes your agreement to these Official Rules. You agree to receive direct/private messages from Qatar Airways regarding the Sweepstakes on the relevant social media platform (e.g. Instagram) where the Sweepstakes has been conducted and you have entered.

3.2 You hereby agree that participation in this Sweepstakes constitutes Your agreement to be legally bound by these Official Rules.

4. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD

4.1 This Sweepstakes commences at 11:00 (Arabian Standard Time) on 29 January 2026 and closes at 23:00 (Arabian Standard Time) on 31 March 2026 (“Sweepstakes Period”). It is the responsibility of each Participant to determine the corresponding local date and time in their country of residence. For Australian residents, the Sweepstakes Period commences at 23:01  (Australian Eastern Daylight Saving Time) on 07 February 2026 and closes at 23:00 (Australian Eastern Daylight Saving Time) on 31 March 2026, and Australian residents are not eligible to enter Draw 1 as set out in clause 7.1.

5. HOW TO ENTER

You must meet the Eligibility Requirements stated in Sub-Clause 2.1 and participate during the Sweepstakes Period stated in Sub-Clause 4.1. Additionally, participants must:

A. Play “QVerse Island” on Fortnite. Players can access it by entering the Island Code 6020-0265-6735

B. Locate the Golden Ticket when it appears within the game; 

C. Upon finding the Golden Ticket, participants must take a screenshot clearly showing both the Golden Ticket and their in-game name within the same image; Screenshots and images taken by PC, mobile phones and PlayStation consoles are acceptable. 

D. Upload the screenshot on any of the following social media platforms, using the official contest hashtag "#FlyWithQR": Instagram, Facebook, X.

E. Follow Qatar Airways’ Instagram Account.

5.2 Alternative Method of Entry (United States Residents only): Residents of the United States of America may also enter the Sweepstakes by submitting their name and contact information via a dedicated Instagram Direct Message (DM) to the @qatarairways Instagram account. Entries submitted through this alternative method will be given the same chance of winning as all other entries. Qatar Airways will not use this information for any reason other than the participant’s entry into the sweepstakes.  While in possession of this information, Qatar Airways will comply with all applicable data protection requirements.  Qatar Airways will delete all contact information at the conclusion of the sweepstakes promotion, unless an entry via the Alternative Method of Entry is the winner, in which case the data privacy terms contained in Section 11 shall apply.

5.3 Only one entry is eligible from each Participant into each Sweepstakes. Subsequent multiple entries from the same Participant will be void and will not be considered for the Sweepstakes. Where available, Participants may enter multiple separate Sweepstakes, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria in each case. 

5.4 If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the Official Rules or the operation of the Sweepstakes, any and all of your submissions may be deemed ineligible at the sole discretion of Qatar Airways. 

5.5 Prizes are subject to any stated terms and conditions applicable to the prize. 

5.6 All entries must be submitted during the Sweepstakes Period.

5.7 Normal mobile data or internet access and usage charges imposed by your mobile phone or internet service provider will apply.

5.8 Sponsor assumes no responsibility or liability for (a) any incorrect or inaccurate registration or entry information, or for any faulty, failed, garbled or jumbled electronic data transmissions; (b) any unauthorized access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of entries at any point in the operation of this Sweepstakes; (c) any technical malfunction, failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers utilized in any aspect of the operation of the Sweepstakes; (d) inaccessibility or unavailability of the internet; or (e) any injury or damage to participant’s or to any other person’s computer or cell phone which may be related to or result from any attempt to participate in the Sweepstakes.

6. PRIZES

6.1 Subject to these Official Rules, the Winner will receive one (1) return economy class flight ticket from the Winner's nearest airport (within QR’s Network) to any destination served by Qatar Airways’ network, as chosen by the Winner.  Subject to any conditions mentioned in the promotional post for the Sweepstakes, seat allocation will be determined by Qatar Airways in its sole discretion, subject to availability. QR’s Network refers to over 170 destinations on routes operated by Qatar Airways. Tickets are subject to the Qatar Airways conditions of carriage and other applicable terms and conditions, such as fare rules. Accommodation is not included in the Prize.

Each Prize is valued up to USD $5,600 (equivalent to AUD $8,550), depending on departure point and travel dates.

7. WINNER’S SELECTION

7.1 The entries of the qualifying Participants who have successfully performed steps in accordance with Sub-Clause 5.1 (or for United States Residents, Sub-Clause 5.2) will be placed into the relevant computerised random draw based on the time their entry is received in accordance with the table below. There will be a nine (9) draws in total. Each draw will be conducted on the dates specified below at the Qatar Airways Australian office, located Level 8, 440 Collins Street, Melbourne, VIC 3000. At each draw, one (1) potential winner will be selected (the “Potential Winner”):

Entry opening and closing times are in Arabian Standard Time (AST). Draw times are in Australian Eastern Daylight Saving Time (AEDST). 

7.2 Qatar Airways will award a total of nine (9) prizes during the Sweepstakes Period, being one (1) prize awarded to the first valid entry drawn in each draw. As stated in Sub-Clause 6.1, each prize comprises of one (1) Qatar Airways economy class return ticket from/to a destination operated by Qatar Airways. Total prize pool value is up to USD $50,400, depending on departure point and travel dates. Total maximum prize pool value for Australian residents is up to AUD $68,400.

7.3 After each draw, all entries (except for the entry of the Potential Winner) will automatically be rolled over and be included in all subsequent draws. The Sponsor reserves the right to draw additional entries as reserve winners in case the Potential Winner is unable to claim the Prize.

7.4 The Potential Winner will initially be sent a direct message from the relevant Qatar Airways official social media account on the platform where the Potential Winner submitted their entry. The Potential Winner must confirm their email address by replying to that direct message. Once confirmed, the Potential Winner will be sent an email  to their designated email address containing instructions on how to claim their Prize (“Prize Announcement”).

7.5 The Potential Winner shall be required to sign and return via email to socialmedia@qatarairways.com.qa the affidavit of eligibility and liability release (collectively, the “Release”) provided by the Sponsor within 5 days of receiving the email as part of the Prize Announcement, together with all additional documents or details which Qatar Airways may require, in order to receive the Prize. (Note: The requirement in this Sub-Clause 7.3 does not apply to Australian residents.)

7.6 The Potential Winners will be required to confirm acceptance of the Prize within 5 days of receiving the email as part of the Prize Announcement, preferably at the same time as submitting the Release.

7.7 The Potential Winners will need also to provide Qatar Airways with additional details to facilitate travel arrangements including their nearest airport (within the QR Network) and confirm that they can adhere to the requirements referred to at Sub-Clause 8.4 below, preferably at the same time as submitting the Release.

7.8 If a Potential Winner meets all of the requirements of this Clause 7.1, then the Potential Winner will be deemed to be a “Winner”. If a Potential Winner:

(a) does not meet the Eligibility Requirements;

(b) fails to return the Release within the timeframe specified in Sub-Clause 7.3;

(c) does not respond to the Prize Announcement within the period specified in Sub-Clause 7.4;

(d) indicates to the Sponsor that they do not wish to receive a Prize;

(e) refuses or fails to provide any verification information requested from the Sponsor;

(f) indicates to the Sponsor that they are unable to adhere to the relevant requirements specified in Sub-Clause 8.4 below; or

(g) is disqualified on inter alia any grounds referred to in these Official Rules by Qatar Airways acting reasonably,

The Potential Winner’s Prize will be forfeited and the Sponsor will move on to the next Potential Winner using the same computerised random draw for selection.

7.9 The full name, country of residence and postcode (in the case of Australia) of the Winner from each draw will be announced in a post on the Qatar Airways' Instagram account (@qatarairways) on the date specified in the table in Clause 7.1.

7.10 If a Potential Winner is not awarded a Prize for any of the reasons set out in Sub-Clause 7.6, then at Qatar Airways’ discretion, acting reasonably and in accordance with applicable law, the selection process described in Sub-Clauses 7.2-7.5 may be repeated. In case where the selection process described in Sub-Clauses 7.2-7.5 is repeated, Potential Winners will be contacted within the same timeframe specified under Sub-Clause 7.10.

7.11 If the Prize remains unclaimed, a further prize draw will be conducted at 08:30 Arabian Standard Time on 18 May 2026 at Qatar Airways Office, Level 8, 440 Collins Street, Melbourne, VIC 3000, in order to determine a further Potential Winner. The full name, country of residence and postcode (in the case of Australia) of the Winner will be announced in a post on the Qatar Airways' Instagram account (@qatarairways) on 25 May 2026.

7.12 Qatar Airways will use best endeavours to contact Potential Winners within twenty-four hours (24) after being selected.

8. PRIZE RESTRICTIONS AND LIABILITY

8.1 Subject to this sub-clause 8.1, prizes are provided “as is” and without any implied warranty of merchantability (or other warranty as to quality) or fitness for a particular purpose to the fullest extent permitted by law, and subject to the applicable prize supplier terms and conditions specified in these Official Rules. A Potential Winner who is ineligible for a Prize or is unable to or who does not accept or utilize a Prize, for any reason whatsoever, will have no claim against the Sponsor for any reason whatsoever and arising out of whatsoever cause.

8.2 Prizes are non-extendable, non-transferable and non-cashable. No cash redemption or prize substitutions by Winners are allowed except where applicable laws require otherwise.  If a Prize is not redeemed no compensation will be provided.

8.3 Each Winner is responsible for any and all fees, charges, and federal, state or local taxes applicable to the Prize, which may not be issued without payment for taxes including withholding taxes and fees. Where required by law, each Winner may have to pay withholding taxes to Sponsor for the latter to fulfil its tax obligations.

8.4 Travel dates: The Winner must be available to travel between 20 February 2026 until 30 October 2026 and must self-manage and fund their own travel arrangements to their nearest airport within QR's Network or the Prize will be forfeited and tickets cancelled. Multicity or multisector tickets are not permitted.  

8.5 The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any Participant or Potential Winner who (without limitation) tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes, provides false information, fails to provide information, conspires with others to gain an unfair advantage, or is otherwise involved in any way in manipulating, interfering, or tampering with the conduct of the Sweepstakes, or violates these Official Rules, or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A PARTICIPANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TOGETHER WITH ANY LEGAL COSTS INCURRED AS A RESULT THEREOF.

8.6 The Participant will have no claim against the Sponsor and its agencies for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications or any other technical fault or failure which prevents a person from entering the Sweepstakes, whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Sweepstakes which may limit the ability to participate or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this Sweepstakes. The Sponsor reserves the right to modify or cancel the Sweepstakes subject to applicable laws if it becomes technically corrupted. If so required by law, the Sponsor shall duly inform Participants in accordance with applicable laws.

8.7 Winner must have valid government-issued documents as required for the itinerary and be legally able to travel without a legal guardian or parent.

8.8 The Prize tickets will be issued as electronic tickets.

8.9 The validity period for the Prize tickets may not be extended and Prize tickets may not be rebooked. If the Prize is not redeemed, no compensation will be provided.

8.10 Winner is responsible for any and all, fees, security and passenger facility charges applicable to the Prize, which may not be issued without payment for taxes and fees (except as specified otherwise in the voucher).

8.11 Winner is responsible for the arrangement and cost of visa(s), passport(s), travel insurance, transportation to and from their nearest airport in QR's Network, meals, health documents required by the relevant government authorities and other travel expenses unless stated otherwise (including in respect of any quarantine or isolation requirements that may be in operation in any jurisdiction).

8.12 The Prize tickets do not entitle the Winner to any mileage credit as part of the Qatar Airways Privilege Club program or any other Qatar Airways reward programs. The Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or promotional fare offer by Qatar Airways or third party.

8.12 All travel arrangements must be booked through Qatar Airways local office in Winner’s country of residence at least sixty (60) days prior to the proposed date of travel and in compliance with instructions given to the Winner. Once a flight booking has been confirmed, no changes are permitted. If the booking is cancelled, no alternative tickets will be issued and no compensation or refund for inter alia the tickets, taxes or any other charges paid for by the Participant shall be provided.

8.14 The economy class flight ticket prize is for the use by the Winner only, and the value of the ticket shall not exceed USD 5,600 (equivalent to AUD 9,200). The Prize shall not be transferrable to any other person for any reason whatsoever.

8.15 Sponsor is not liable for any expense incurred as a consequence of a flight cancellation or flight delay.

8.16 Travel is subject to availability, which are subject to change in the sole discretion of the Sponsor.

8.17 Flight schedules are subject to change without notice.

9. PUBLICITY RELEASE

9.1 By entering this Sweepstakes, Participants consent for Qatar Airways to collect and use their name and country of residence in the event they are a Winner for advertising, promotional and/or publicity purposes addressed to the general public in all forms of media, including, but not limited to, on Sponsor’s website, mobile application, and official social media accounts in connection with the Sweepstakes, without any obligation or consideration or counter-part whether financial or otherwise, except for the awarding of the prize to the Winner as set out in these Official Rules. In case that the Winner intends to create any publicity regarding his/her win on the Sweepstakes and/or Prizes, such publicity must not contain anything that would harm and/or otherwise be deemed detrimental to the Sponsor’s reputation and/or brand image.

10. PRIVACY

10.1 Personal data submitted in connection with the Sweepstakes will be processed to allow you to participate in the Sweepstakes, allow us to administer the Sweepstakes, where you are a Potential Winner to inform you of this, to process the delivery of and distribution of the Prizes, to measure the response to Sweepstakes and for any other purposes disclosed in these Official Rules. We will process your personal data based on the Official Rules of this Sweepstakes, in accordance with Qatar Airways Privacy Notice (as may be amended from time to time) located at https://www.qatarairways.com/en/legal/privacy.html and as permitted by law. If you decline to provide the information required for your participation in the Sweepstakes, we will not be able to enter you into the Sweepstakes or award you a Prize.

10.2 As Sponsor of the Sweepstakes, we may process your name, email address, your country of residence, age verification documentation and personal identification documentation in accordance with applicable laws. We will retain any personal data provided for as long as necessary to administer these Official Rules.

11. RELEASE OF LIABILITY

11.1 NOTHING IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES SHALL OPERATE TO EXCLUDE OR LIMIT SPONSOR'S OR ITS AFFILIATES' LIABILITY FOR ANY OTHER LIABILITY WHICH MAY NOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED BY LAW. ANY RELEASE OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY IN THESE TERMS MUST BE READ SUBJECT TO THIS CLAUSE 11.

11.2 A Potential Winner who is ineligible for a Prize, or is unable to or who does not accept or utilize a Prize, for any reason will not make any claim against the Sponsor, their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, employees, officers, directors, representatives, mandataries, and agents, Qatar Airways Group Q.C.S.C. (collectively, the “Releasees”).

11.3 SUBJECT TO CLAUSE 11.1, SPONSOR'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SWEEPSTAKES SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE VALUE OF ONE PRIZE (BEING USD $5,600 (EQUIVALENT TO AUD $9,200). THE RELEASEES‎ SHALL FURTHERMORE NOT BE LIABLE TO PARTICIPANTS FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SWEEPSTAKES OR THESE OFFICIAL RULES INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFIT, LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY, OR REVENUE.

11.4 QATAR AIRWAYS MAY WITHDRAW OR CANCEL OR POSTPONE THE SWEEPSTAKES TO LATER DATES WITH OR WITHOUT A REASON WITHOUT INCURRING ANY LIABILITY OR COST WHATSOEVER AS A RESULT OF USING THIS ENTITLMENT, SUBJECT TO GOVERNMENT APPROVAL WHERE REQUIRED BY LAW. HOWEVER, ONCE A PRIZE HAS BEEN AWARDED AND A POTENTIAL WINNER HAS BECOME A WINNER, SUCH WITHDRAWAL, CANCELLATION OR POSTPONING WILL NOT OCCUR.

12. FORCE MAJEURE

12.1 EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE EXPRESSLY SET OUT IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES QATAR AIRWAYS AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, DIVISIONS, AND ITS EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY FAILURE TO PERFORM, OR DELAY IN PERFORMANCE , OR PARTIAL PERFORMANCE OF, ANY OF THEIR RESPECTIVE OBLIGATIONS THAT ARE CAUSED BY EVENTS OUTSIDE OF THEIR REASONABLE CONTROL. QATAR AIRWAYS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE IF THE SWEEPSTAKES TERMINATES OR ANY PRIZE CANNOT BE USED OR REDEEMED DUE TO (WITHOUT LIMITATION) ACTS OF GOD, WAR, TERRORISM, EXPLOSIONS, FIRES, FLOODS, EPIDEMIC, PANDEMIC OR OTHER NATURAL CALAMITIES, BAD WEATHER, STRIKES, RIOT, CIVIL DISRUPTION, INTERNET FAILURES, OR ACTS OF THE WINNER, OR FOR ANY OTHER OCCURRENCES WHICH ARE OUTSIDE OF QATAR AIRWAYS’ REASONABLE CONTROL.

13. DISCLAIMERS

13.1 Where permitted by law, if this Sweepstakes cannot be administered as contemplated for any reason which is not caused by the Sponsor, the Sponsor reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion in accordance with applicable laws, to modify or terminate the Sweepstakes, Winner selection, or Prizes without prior notice.

14. GOVERNING LAW AND COMPETENT JURISDICTIONS

14.1 This Sweepstakes including the Official Rules in addition to all issues and questions concerning this Sweepstakes will be governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Qatari courts, as well as applicable to eligible countries participating in the giveaway, without regard to conflict of law provisions, and any dispute arising from or relating to the conduct of this Sweepstakes shall be determined by binding arbitration in Qatar. THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.

14.2 Qatar Airways however, reserves the right to start proceedings in any competent court as it deems it fit.

Where, in relation to contracts with consumers (being individuals acting in a private capacity), the laws of your country of residence (“Laws”) require that:

(a) The Laws shall apply to any such contract; and

(b) You may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence (“Courts”), 

then the Sweepstakes and these Official Rules shall be governed by the Laws and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts.

15. SEVERABILITY

The invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability of any portion or provision of these Official Rules shall in no way affect the validity, legality, or enforceability of any other portion or provision hereof. Any invalid, illegal, or unenforceable portion or provision shall be deemed severed from these Official Rules and the balance of these Official Rules shall be construed and enforced as if these Official Rules did not contain such invalid, illegal, or unenforceable portion or provision.

2.1 NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.  A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT DOES NOT IMPROVE CHANCES OF WINNING.  The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents and citizens of Qatar who have reached the age of majority in their state/country of residence as of the date of entering the Sweepstakes, excluding those individuals referred to in Sub-Clause 2.3.  To be eligible the participant must: (I) have any active account on the relevant social media channel;  (II) have their social media account privacy setting as “public” (i.e. not set as “hidden” or “private”) during the Sweepstakes Period (as referred to in clause 4.1); 

2.2 By participating in the Sweepstakes, each participant (each a “Participant”) confirms that they meet all eligibility requirements in Sub-Clause 2.1 (the "Eligibility Requirements"). Each Participant confirms that they are legally able to collect the prize in the event their entry is selected.  Furthermore, each Participant confirms they are not prohibited or restricted from receiving such prizes, whether individually, geographically, or by virtue of relationships or group affiliation, by the government of any country whose residents are eligible to participate in this Sweepstakes.

2.3 Employees, officers, directors and agents of Qatar Airways and each of their related bodies corporate, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings and children, grandparents, first cousins or similar relations) and household members are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes.

3. AGREEMENT TO RULES

3.1 All Participants must comply with these Official Rules. You agree that registration for this Sweepstakes and/or a submission of an entry in the Sweepstakes constitutes your agreement to these Official Rules. You agree to receive direct/private messages from Qatar Airways regarding the Sweepstakes on the relevant social media platform (e.g. Instagram) where the Sweepstakes has been conducted and you have entered.

3.2 You hereby agree that participation in this Sweepstakes constitutes Your agreement to be legally bound by these Official Rules.

4. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD

4.1 This Sweepstakes commences on 01 February 2026 until 30 March 2026 (“Sweepstakes Period”).

5. HOW TO ENTER

You must meet the Eligibility Requirements stated in Sub-Clause 2.1 and participate during the Sweepstakes Period stated in Sub-Clause 4.1. Additionally, participants must:

A. Play “QVerse Island” on Fortnite. Players can access it by entering the Island Code 6020-0265-6735

B. Locate the Golden Ticket when it appears within the game; 

C. Upon finding the Golden Ticket, participants must take a screenshot clearly showing both the Golden Ticket and their in-game name within the same image; Screenshots and images taken by PC, mobile phones and PlayStation consoles are acceptable. 

D. Upload the screenshot on any of the following social media platforms, using the official contest hashtag "#FlyWithQR: Instagram, Facebook, X.

E. Follow Qatar Airways on Instagram

5.2 Only one entry is eligible from each Participant. Subsequent multiple entries from the same Participant will be void and will not be considered for the Sweepstakes.

5.3 If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, any and all of your submissions may be deemed ineligible at the sole discretion of Qatar Airways.

5.4 By entering the Sweepstakes, the Participant agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions applicable to any prize won.

5.5 All entries must be received and recorded during the Sweepstakes period.

5.6 Normal mobile data or internet access and usage charges imposed by your mobile phone or internet service provider will apply.

5.7 Sponsor assumes no responsibility or liability for (a) any incorrect or inaccurate registration or entry information, or for any faulty, failed, garbled or jumbled electronic data transmissions; (b) any unauthorized access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of entries at any point in the operation of this Sweepstakes; (c) any technical malfunction, failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers utilized in any aspect of the operation of the Sweepstakes; (d) inaccessibility or unavailability of the internet; or (e) any injury or damage to participant’s or to any other person’s computer or cell phone which may be related to or result from any attempt to participate in the Sweepstakes.

6. PRIZES

6.1 Subject to your compliance with these Official Rules, the Winner will receive a “Prize”.

“Prize” when used herein refers to one (01) return Economy Class Flight Tickets within Qatar Airways’ Network (specific tickets, and seat locations shall be determined by Qatar Airways in its sole discretion, subject to availability). Subjected to sub-clause 8.7, QR’s Network refers to over 170 destinations on routes operated by Qatar Airways. Use of the tickets shall be subject to the Qatar Airways conditions of carriage and other applicable terms and conditions, such as fare rules. 

7. WINNER’S SELECTION

7.1 The entries of the qualifying Participants who have successfully performed steps in accordance with Sub-Clause 5.1 will be placed into a computerised random draw to be conducted on 01 April 2026, and 1 (One) potential winner will be selected (the “Potential Winner”)

7.2 The Potential Winner will be sent a Prize announcement through Qatar Airways official Instagram account via a direct InMail message (“Prize Announcement”).

7.3 The Potential Winner shall be required to sign and return via email to socialmedia@qatarairways.com.qa the affidavit of eligibility and liability release (collectively, the “Release”) provided by the Sponsor within 24 hours of dispatch of the Instagram InMail message or email stated referred to in Sub-clause 7.2 above, together with all or any additional documents or details which Qatar Airways may require,  in order to receive the Prize.

7.4 Potential Winners will be required to confirm acceptance of the Prize at the same time as submitting the Release.

7.5 Potential Winners will need also to provide Qatar Airways with the travel arrangements including nearest gateway city and destination and the validity of the return flight ticket latest at the same time as submitting the Release and which must strictly adhere to the travel period referred to at Sub-Clause 8.4.  

7.6 If a Potential Winner meets all of the requirements of this Clause 7.1, then the Potential Winner will be deemed to be a “Winner”. If a Potential Winner:

(i) does not meet the Eligibility Requirements;

(ii) does not respond to the Prize Announcement within the period specified in Sub-Clause 7.4 by the Sponsor;

(iii) does not wish to receive a Prize;

(iv) refuses or fails to provide any verification information requested from the Sponsor;

(v) fails to return the Release within the specified timeframe;  

(vii) does not react to the Prize Announcement;

or 

(vi) is disqualified on inter alia any grounds referred to in these Official Rules; 

The Potential Winner’s Prize will be forfeited and the Sponsor will move on to the next Potential Winner using the same computerised random draw for selection.

7.7 If a Potential Winner is not awarded a Prize for any of the reasons set out in Sub-Clause 7.6, then at Qatar Airways’ discretion, acting reasonably and in accordance with applicable law, the Prize in question may either be completely forfeited (i.e. no replacement winner will be chosen), or the selection process described in Sub-Clauses 7.1-7.6 may be repeated. In case where the selection process described in Sub-Clauses 7.1-7.5 is repeated, Potential Winners may be contacted after the deadline specified under Sub-Clause 7.8. 

7.8 Qatar Airways will use best endeavours to contact winners within twenty four hours (24) after the  Winner has been selected. 

8. PRIZE RESTRICTIONS

8.1 Prizes are provided “as is” and without any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied in fact or in law of any kind, and without any implied warranty of merchantability (or other warranty as to quality) or fitness for a particular purpose to the fullest extent permitted by law, and subject to the respective terms or policies of the Sponsor (available here:  https://www.qatarairways.com/en-qa/legal/conditions-of-carriage.html ). A Potential Winner who is ineligible for a Prize or is unable to or who does not accept or utilize a Prize, for any reason whatsoever, will have  no claim against the Sponsor for any reason whatsoever and arising out of whatsoever cause.

8.2 Prizes are non-extendable, non-transferable and non-cashable. No or prize substitutions by Winners are allowed except where applicable laws require otherwise.  If a Prize is not redeemed no compensation will be provided.

8.3 Each Winner is responsible for any and all fees, charges, and federal, state or local taxes applicable to the Prize, which may not be issued without payment for taxes including withholding taxes and fees. Where required by law, each Winner may have to pay withholding taxes to Sponsor for the latter to fulfil its tax obligations.

8.4 Deadline for claiming prize

The Winner must travel between 15 April 2026 and 30 October 2026 or the Prize will be forfeited and ticket cancelled.

8.5. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any Participant or Potential Winner who (without limitation) tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes, provides false information, fails to provide information, conspires with others to gain an unfair advantage, or is otherwise involved in any way in manipulating, interfering, or tampering with the conduct of the Sweepstakes, or violates these Official Rules, or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A PARTICIPANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TOGETHER WITH ANY LEGAL COSTS INCURRED AS A RESULT THEREOF.

8.6 The Participant will have no  claim against the Sponsor and its agencies for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications or any other technical fault or failure which prevents a person from entering the Sweepstakes, whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Sweepstakes which may limit the ability to participate or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this Sweepstakes.  The Sponsor reserves the right to modify or cancel the Sweepstakes in accordance with applicable laws if it becomes technically corrupted or for no reason at all. If so required by law, the Sponsor shall duly inform Participants in accordance with applicable laws.

8.7 Prize Restrictions

(i) Travel Dates: Winner must travel from an airport in its country of residence, served by Qatar Airways’ network subject to the ticket value limitation in section (ii) hereafter, between 15 April 2026 and 30 August 2026. Multicity or multisector tickets are not permitted.

(ii) Winner must have valid government-issued documents as required for the itinerary and be legally able to travel without a legal guardian or parent.

(ii) The Prize tickets will be issued as electronic tickets.

(iii) The validity period for the Prize tickets may not be extended and Prize tickets may not be rebooked. If the Prize is not redeemed, no compensation will be provided.

(iv) Winner is responsible for any and all, fees, security and passenger facility charges applicable to the Prize, which may not be issued without payment for taxes and fees (except as specified otherwise in the voucher).

(v) Winner is responsible for the arrangement and cost of visa(s), passport(s), and transportation to and from the point of origin, meals, health documents required by the relevant government authorities and other travel expenses unless stated otherwise (including in respect of any quarantine or isolation requirements that may be in operation in any jurisdiction). 

(vi) The Prize tickets do not entitle the Winner to any mileage credit as part of the Qatar Airways Privilege Club program or any other Qatar Airways reward programs. The Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or promotional fare offer by Qatar Airways or third party.

(vii) Once a flight booking has been confirmed, no changes are permitted. If the booking is cancelled, no alternative tickets will be issued and no compensation or refund for inter alia the tickets, taxes or any other charges paid for by the Participant shall be provided. 

(ix) The one (01) return Economy Class Flight Tickets (Within Qatar Airways’ Network) prize is for the use by the Winner only, and the value of the ticket shall not exceed USD 5,600. The Prize shall not be transferrable to any other person for any reason whatsoever.

(x) Sponsor is not liable for any expense incurred as a consequence of a flight cancellation or flight delay.

(xi) Travel is subject to availability, which are subject to change in the sole discretion of the Sponsor.

(xii) Flight schedules are subject to change without notice.

(xiii) Flight is subject to Qatar Airways Conditions of Carriage available at https://www.qatarairways.com/en-qa/legal/conditions-of-carriage.html

9. PUBLICITY RELEASE

By entering this Sweepstakes the Winner consents for Qatar Airways to collect and use the Winner’s name and country of residence for advertising, promotional and/or publicity purposes addressed to the general public in all forms of media, including,  but not limited to, on Sponsor’s website, mobile application, social media on Sponsor’s social media official accounts in connection with the Sweepstakes, without any obligation or consideration or counter-part whether financial or otherwise, except for the awarding of the prize to the Winner. In case that the Winner intends to create any publicity regarding his/her win on the Sweepstakes and/or Prizes, such publicity must not contain anything that would harm and/or otherwise be deemed detrimental to the Sponsor’s reputation.

10. PRIVACY

10.1 Personal data submitted in connection with the Sweepstakes will be processed to allow you to participate in the Sweepstakes, allow us to administer the Sweepstakes, where you are a Potential Winner to inform you of this, to process the delivery of and distribution of the Prizes, to measure the response to Sweepstakes and for any other purposes disclosed in these Official Rules. We will process your personal data based on the Official Rules of this Sweepstakes, in accordance with Qatar Airways Privacy Notice (as may be amended from time to time) located at https://www.qatarairways.com/en/legal/privacy.html and as permitted by law. If you decline to provide the information required for your participation in the Sweepstakes, we will not be able to enter you into the Sweepstakes or award you a Prize.

10.2 As Sponsor of the Sweepstakes, we may process your name, email address, your country of residence, age verification documentation and personal identification documentation in accordance with applicable laws. We will retain any personal data provided for a maximum of ninety (90) days from the travel date or any longer period in order to administer these Official Rules.

11. RELEASE OF LIABILITY

A Potential Winner who is ineligible for a Prize, or is unable to or who does not accept or utilize a Prize, for any reason will not make any claim against the Sponsor, their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, employees, officers, directors, representatives, mandataries, and agents, Qatar Airways Group Q.C.S.C. (collectively, the “Releasees”). Nothing in these Official Rules will operate to exclude or restrict any liability that cannot be excluded or restricted in respect of death or personal injury resulting from negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation or for any matter for which it is not permitted by law to exclude or limit, or to attempt to exclude or limit, liability. SPONSOR'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SWEEPSTAKES SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE VALUE OF ONE PRIZE. THE RELEASEES‎ SHALL  FURTHERMORE NOT BE LIABLE TO PARTICIPANTS FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SWEEPSTAKES OR THESE OFFICIAL RULES INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFIT, LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY, OR REVENUE. NOTHING IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES SHALL OPERATE TO EXCLUDE OR LIMIT SPONSOR'S OR ITS AFFILIATES' LIABILITY FOR ANY OTHER LIABILITY WHICH MAY NOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED BY LAW.

QATAR AIRWAYS MAY WITHDRAW OR CANCEL OR POSTPONE THE SWEEPSTAKES TO LATER DATES WITH OR WITHOUT A REASON WITHOUT INCURRING ANY LIABILITY OR COST WHATSOEVER AS A RESULT OF USING THIS ENTITLMENT. HOWEVER, ONCE A PRIZE HAS BEEN AWARDED AND A POTENTIAL WINNER HAS BECOME A WINNER, SUCH WITHDRAWAL, CANCELLATION  OR POSTPONING WILL NOT OCCUR.

12. FORCE MAJEURE

EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE EXPRESSLY SET OUT IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES QATAR AIRWAYS AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, DIVISIONS, AND ITS EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY FAILURE TO PERFORM, OR DELAY IN PERFORMANCE , OR PARTIAL PERFORMANCE OF, ANY OF THEIR RESPECTIVE OBLIGATIONS THAT ARE CAUSED BY EVENTS OUTSIDE OF THEIR REASONABLE CONTROL. QATAR AIRWAYS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE IF THE SWEEPSTAKES TERMINATES OR ANY PRIZE CANNOT BE USED OR REDEEMED DUE TO (WITHOUT LIMITATION) ACTS OF GOD, WAR, TERRORISM, EXPLOSIONS, FIRES, FLOODS, EPIDEMIC, PANDEMIC OR OTHER NATURAL CALAMITIES, BAD WEATHER, STRIKES, RIOT, CIVIL DISRUPTION, INTERNET FAILURES, OR ACTS OF THE WINNER, OR FOR ANY OTHER OCCURRENCES WHICH ARE OUTSIDE OF QATAR AIRWAYS’ REASONABLE CONTROL.

13. DISCLAIMERS

Where permitted by law, if this Sweepstakes cannot be administered as contemplated for any reason which is not caused by the Sponsor, the Sponsor reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion in accordance and with applicable laws, to modify or terminate the Sweepstakes, Winner selection, or Prizes without prior notice.

14. GOVERNING LAW AND COMPETENT JURISDICTIONS

This Sweepstakes including the Official Rules in addition to all issues and questions concerning this Sweepstakes will be governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Qatari courts, as well as applicable to eligible countries participating in the giveaway, without regard to conflict of law provisions, and any dispute arising from or relating to the conduct of this Sweepstakes shall be determined by binding arbitration in Qatar. THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.

Qatar Airways however, reserves the right to start proceedings in any competent court as it deems it fit.

Where, in relation to contracts with consumers (being individuals acting in a private capacity), the laws of your country of residence (“Laws”) require that:

The Laws shall apply to any such contract; and

You may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence (“Courts”),

then the Sweepstakes and these Official Rules shall be governed by the Laws and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts

15. SEVERABILITY

The invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability of any portion or provision of these Official Rules shall in no way affect the validity, legality, or enforceability of any other portion or provision hereof. Any invalid, illegal, or unenforceable portion or provision shall be deemed severed from these Official Rules and the balance of these Official Rules shall be construed and enforced as if these Official Rules did not contain such invalid, illegal, or unenforceable portion or provision.
