Qatar Airways Sponsors the Last Match of the MX League Apertura Season between CF Monterrey and Atlas FC

CF Monterrey will compete in the FIFA Club World Cup Qatar 2019™ taking place in Doha

DOHA, Qatar – Qatar Airways is proud to sponsor the final match of Liga MX, the Mexican League, between CF Monterrey and Atlas at Monterrey’s home stadium, Estadio BBVA Bancomer, in Guadalupe, Mexico on 23 November 2019, marking the last week of the Torneo Apertura half of the season.

Liga MX, the Mexican Primera División is the highest level of Mexican football and consists of 19 clubs. The season has two halves: Apertura, which starts in the summer, and Clausura, which resumes in the winter.

CF Monterrey secured their FIFA Club World Cup spot as winner of the 2019 CONCACAF Champions League in May 2019. Los Rayados will kick-off their fourth FIFA Club World Cup campaign against the winner of the competition's opening match between New Caledonia’s Hienghene Sport and local Qatar All Stars League side Al Sadd Sport Club.
