Qatar Airways Named the National Airline Partner of the IAAF World Athletics Championships Doha 2019

Airline to fly more than 3,500 Athletes, Coaches and Officials with thousands more expected spectators between 27 September and 6 October

Doha, Qatar – Qatar Airways is set to bring the world of athletics together in Doha after signing an agreement to become the National Airline Partner of the 17th IAAF World Athletics Championships, which takes place from 27 September to 6 October at the air-conditioned Khalifa International Stadium.

Held in the region for the first time, the competition will feature 3,500 elite athletes and officials from 213 countries with an estimated 10,000 international guests, making it the biggest sporting event the Middle East has ever hosted.
