Qatar Airways Privilege Club recently revealed a fully refreshed brand identity, including redesigned membership packs, new online content and programme enhancements
DOHA, Qatar – Qatar Airways’ frequent flyer programme, Privilege Club, was named the 2018 winner of the ‘Best Rewards Programme’ for the Middle East, Asia and Oceania region at the seventh annual FlyerTalk Awards.
FlyerTalk is a community of more than half a million businesses and leisure travellers dedicated to finding and sharing information regarding elite air and hotel packages and car rental programmes. More than 100 rewards programmes worldwide competed for this year’s Best Programme award, and were evaluated on the basis of value, ease of redemption and customer service.

Qatar Airways Privilege Club recently unveiled a fully refreshed brand identity with redesigned membership packs, new online content and programme enhancements that will make members’ journeys even more memorable and seamless. Additional improvements as part of Qatar Airways’ Privilege Club rebrand include members’ ability to perform all their account activities online, including purchasing award tickets using Avios, nominating family members to join their membership account, updating personal profiles and requesting services including cabin upgrades, excess baggage, date changes, refunds and much more.
As part of the ongoing programme enhancements, Qatar Airways Privilege Club is set to launch the Oryx Kids Loyalty Programme later this year, a new and exclusive frequent flyer programme designed just for young passengers. Young travellers will be able to register for the Oryx Kids Loyalty Programme and earn Avios, which they can redeem for attractive awards and exclusive benefits. They will also earn Qpoints, which will allow them to upgrade to a higher tier.
Qatar Airways enjoyed a record-breaking year in 2017, claiming more than 50 individual awards across multiple categories, demonstrating its continued commitment to exceeding passenger expectations with its innovative approach to product development and dedication to customer experience.
Leading the host of awards received by the airline last year is the prestigious accolade of 2017 ‘Airline of the Year,’ awarded by the 2017 Skytrax World Airline Awards, which was held at the Paris Air Show. This is the fourth time that Qatar Airways has been given this global recognition. In addition to being voted Best Airline by travellers from around the world, Qatar’s national carrier also won a raft of other major awards at the ceremony, including ‘Best Airline in the Middle East,’ ‘World’s Best Business Class’ and ‘World’s Best First Class Airline Lounge’.
Qatar Airways recently revealed a host of forthcoming global destinations in line with its expedited expansion plans, including the announcement that it will be the first Gulf carrier to begin direct service to Luxembourg. Other exciting new destinations to be launched by the airline include London Gatwick, United Kingdom; Tallinn, Estonia; Valletta, Malta; Cebu and Davao, Philippines; Langkawi, Malaysia; Da Nang, Vietnam; Bodrum and Antalya, Turkey; Mykonos, Greece and Málaga, Spain.
