I missed my flights or couldn’t fly because of the disruption. Will my tier change?If your tier was due to expire between 28 February 2026 and 31 May 2026, it may be renewed or extended.
Eligibility for the extension or renewal will be assessed and granted as follows:
- If you have earned at least 90% of the Qpoints required to retain your tier by your renewal date, your tier will be renewed for an additional 12 months from your current expiry date.
- If you have earned less than 90% of the required Qpoints by your renewal date, your tier will be extended for an additional 3 months, allowing you to continue using any remaining benefits.
When will I know if my tier is extended or renewed?All tier extensions for members with tier expiry between 28 February 2026 and 31 March 2026 are already active.
All tier extension are for members with tier expiry between 1 April 2026 and 31 May 2026 will be processed within 7 working days from 26 March 2026.
What happens if my tier was already downgraded?If your tier expired between 28 February 2026 and the date the tier‑extension process began, your previous tier will be reinstated. The reinstatement period will be either 3 months or 12 months, depending on your eligibility.
How long will the tier extension remain in effect?Renewals and extensions will be reviewed and assessed based on the situation and until normal operations resume.
If my tier expiry date is on or after 01 June 2026, will there be any protection for my tier?Tier extensions will be reviewed and assessed based on the situation and until normal operations resume. Any updates to your tier will be communcated through email and push notifications.
How is the 90% requirement calculated, and can members calculate this themselves?The 90% requirement is based on the Qpoints you have earned during your current tier assessment period. Your Qpoints from the past 12 months or 24 months—whichever total is lower—are used to determine your progress toward the 90% threshold for retaining your tier.
