Travel Advisory - Carriage of ZAMZAM Water

Dear Trade Partner,

Please be advised of the following conditions for the carriage of ZAMZAM water from JED/MED/TIF for passengers travelling for Hajj and Umrah.

  • Maximum 5 KGS/Liters of ZAMZAM is allowed.
  • Only approved ZAMZAM is allowed to be carried as per Civil Aviation instructions.
  • ZAMZAM water must not be carried in the cabin or inside check-in baggage.
  • Only passengers who have performed HAJJ or Umrah are allowed to transport ZAMZAM water when departing on international flights from JED/MED/TIF, provided the bottle is designed for air transport and is produced from the project of King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz ZAMZAM.

The aforementioned rule does not apply to passengers travelling from other stations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
