The raffle starts on May 12^th 2024 and ends on June 12^th 2024.

• You must enter your code on eligible bookings between May 12th 2024to June 12th 2024 (“Sale Period”) for a travel period with first outbound flight between May 12th 2024 and July 31St 2024 (“Travel Period”).
• You must sell a minimum of ten (10) Qatar Airways tickets from any class for travel transiting through Qatar during the Sale Period to enter the Raffle. 
  • For every five (5) additional qualifying tickets beyond the minimum entry requirement made on Edifact, you will have one (1) additional entry in the Raffle. 
  • For every three (3) additional qualifying tickets beyond the minimum entry requirement made on Qatar Airways’ NDC programme Oryx Connect you will have one (1) additional entry in the Raffle. After 12 June 2024, you must log onto the Qatar Airways Trade Portal, retrieve each NDC booking and add the campaign name followed by your Trade Portal Membership ID (e.g. “SAW TA12345678”).
• Cancelled tickets will reduce your number of ticket counts in your final total.

The raffle is open to Qatar Airways operated flights tickets from any class to any destination during the Sale Period.

Tickets issued under Codeshare, AD, ID, FAM or Infant tickets are not eligible for this raffle.

For EDIFACT bookings, you must indicate in the bookings OSI field the campaign name SAW followed by your Trade Portal ID (e.g. “SAW TA12345678”) for every Qatar Airways qualifying ticket issued for the participation period.

For NDC bookings, you must log onto the Qatar Airways Trade Portal between 12 June 2024 and 19 June 2024, retrieve each NDC booking and add the campaign name followed by your Trade Portal Membership ID (e.g. “SAW TA12345678”).

No, Qatar Airways will track your raffle participation based on your correct OSI entries for all QR tickets issued between May 12^th 2024 and June 12^th 2024

Qatar Airways will announce the winners after 15 August 2024. The local Qatar Airways sales office will contact the winners directly. The terms and conditions of the prizes applies upon redemption.

You must redeem your prize within 6 months of the winner announcement.

For prizes involving flight tickets, you can utilize the flight tickets to travel within 6 months after the winner announcement, see further details in Official Rules. Requests for travel deferment dates beyond the 6 months is not allowed.

Unclaimed or unutilized prizes will be void after the end of 3 months of the winner announcement.

1. SUMMARY:

The Be a winner with us Raffle (the “Raffle”) is sponsored by Qatar Airways with its registered office at P.O. Box 25550, Doha, State of Qatar (the “Sponsor” or “Qatar Airways”). The Raffle and Prizes are subject to these Official Rules, which form a legally binding agreement between the Sponsor and You (as defined in Clause 2.1 below) with respect to this Raffle, please read them carefully. If You do not agree to the Official Rules, You are not eligible to participate in the Raffle or to win any of the Prizes. The decisions of the Sponsor are final and binding on all aspects of this Raffle as permitted by law. The Raffle is run and sponsored by Qatar Airways in complete independence from any local government offices or tenders. 

2. ELIGIBILITY:

2.1- The Raffle is open to front line travel agents (or their employees as appropriate) who sell Qatar Airways flight tickets and have a valid login account to the Qatar Airways Trade Portal (“Trade Portal”) from the following eligible countries Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belgium, Bulgaria, China, Czech Republic, Djibouti, Denmark, Egypt, Spain, Finland, France, United Kingdom, Georgia, Ghana, Croatia, Indonesia, India, Iraq,  , Jordan, Kuwait, Kenya, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Morocco, Maldives, Malaysia, Mozambique, Nigeria, Norway, Nepal, Pakistan, Romania, Serbia, Sweden, Singapore, Tanzania, Uganda, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe (each a participant, and referred to herein, as the “Participant”, “You” or “Your”). If the Participant does not have login account to the Trade Portal, they can create a login account on http://www.qatarairways.com/tradeportal

2.2- Employees, officers, directors and agents of Qatar Airways, each of their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings and children, grandparents, first cousins or similar relations) and household members are not eligible to participate in the Raffle.

3. AGREEMENT TO RULES:

You must comply with these Official Rules. All interpretations of these Official Rules by Qatar Airways are final. You hereby agree that participation in this Raffle constitutes Your agreement to be legally bound by these Official Rules. By participating in the Raffle, You confirm that, where You are an employee, You have obtained the permission of Your employer to participate in the Raffle, You agree to these Official Rules and that all interpretations of these Official Rules by Qatar Airways are final as permitted by law and You agree (where You are an employee) to notify the Sponsor of any procedures required by Your employer to be observed regarding Your participation in the Raffle.

4. RAFFLE PERIOD:

4.1- This Raffle commences on 12 May, 2024 at 00:00 (Doha time) and ends on 12 June, 2024 at 23:59 (Doha time), (“Raffle Period”) or any extended date which the Sponsor may in its sole discretion decide 

5. HOW TO ENTER:

5.1- You must sell a minimum of ten (10) Qatar Airways tickets from any class or Reservation Booking Designator for travel transiting through Qatar during the Raffle Period to enter the Raffle.

5.2- You must enter Your code on eligible bookings between 12 May 2024 to 12 June 2024 for a travel period with first outbound flight between 12 May 2024 to 31 July 2024.

5.3- You must indicate in the bookings OSI field the campaign name SAW followed by Your Trade Portal ID (e.g. “SAW +TRADE PORTAL ID),”).

5.4- You must enter the reference code as an OSI element in eligible PNRs for Qatar Airways’ tracking purposes. Eligible PNRs without any QR reference code or having multiple QR reference codes as an OSI element will be disqualified from the Raffle.

5.5- For every five (5) additional qualifying tickets beyond the minimum entry requirement made on Edifact, You will have one (1) additional entry in the Raffle. Cancelled tickets will reduce the final entry count.

5.6- For every five (3) additional qualifying tickets beyond the minimum entry requirement made on Qatar Airways’ NDC programme Oryx Connect You will have one (1) additional entry in the Raffle. After 12 June 2024, you must log onto the Qatar Airways Trade Portal, retrieve each NDC booking and add the campaign name followed by your Trade Portal Membership ID (e.g. “SAW TA12345678”). Cancelled tickets will reduce the final entry count.

5.7- Tickets issued with criteria below are not eligible for the Raffle:

a) Codeshare flights (with a Qatar Airways flight number operated by a third party); or

b) Fam, AD, ID or infant tickets.

5.8-You shall be solely responsible for informing customers who purchase Qatar Airways tickets about:

a) Your participation in the Raffle;

b) the entry requirements for the Raffle; and

c) the associated Prizes for the Raffle.

5.9- Qatar Airways reserves the right to disqualify any Participant who provides false or misleading information, fails to provide information or comply with these Official Rules, conspires with others to gain an unfair advantage, or is otherwise involved in any way in manipulating, interfering, or tampering with the conduct of the Raffle.

6.PRIZES:

6.1.-Subject to the Prize Restrictions stated in Clause 8 below, twenty (20) Winners (as defined in Clause 7.1) shall have a chance to receive a set of prizes (each a “Prize”) as follows:

i. Qatar Duty Free Vouchers worth USD1,000; and

ii. Two (2) Qatar Airways Business Class Tickets to any destination on the QR network worth USD 8,000.00; and

iii. One (1) Discover Qatar Stopover Package in Doha on their way to their destination for two (2) nights for two (2) persons worth USD500.00.

iv. HIA Experience package with Al Maha services and Al Mourjan Business Lounge access for two (2) persons worth USD500.

6.2.- Prizes shall be available from September 01^st 2024 to March 01^st 2025.

7. WINNER’S SELECTION:

7.1- At the end of the Raffle Period on 12^th June, 2024, the entries of the Participants shall be placed into a random draw which will not be viewable by the public. Twenty (20) Participants shall be randomly selected; each selected Participant shall hereinafter be referred to as (a “Winner”).

7.2- Each Winner shall be sent a prize announcement and shall be informed through email (“Prize Announcement”). Subject to each Winner’s consent, the list of Winners shall be published on the Trade Portal.

7.3- Winners shall respond to the Prize Announcement within ten (10) days including providing a validly executed Release (as defined in Clause 7.5 below) to confirm receipt of the message to claim the Prize. After the expiration of this period with no claims by the Winner, the Prize shall be deemed to have been forfeited.

7.4- If a Winner does not meet the eligibility requirements set out in Clause 2 or does not respond to the Prize Announcement within the period specified in Clause 7.3; does not wish to receive a Prize; refuses or fails to provide verification information, that Winner shall be deemed ineligible, and an alternate Winner shall be drawn. If it is determined that an alternate Winner shall be selected, the Winner that was deemed ineligible shall be deemed to have forfeit the right to any Prizes associated with the Raffle.

7.5- Subject to Sub-clause 7.2 above, Winners shall be required to sign and return via email the affidavit of eligibility and liability release (collectively, the “Release”) provided by Sponsor within ten (10) days of receipt in order to receive Prize. If the Winner fails to return the Release within the specified timeframe or if the Winner is disqualified, the Prize shall be forfeited. If a Winner is not reachable at the e-mail address provided to Sponsor or if the email goes unanswered, then the Prize shall be forfeited.

8. PRIZE RESTRICTIONS (GENERAL)

8.1- Prizes are provided “as is” and without any warranty, representation or guarantee, expressed or implied in fact or in law, and any implied warranty of merchantability (or other warranty as to quality) or fitness for a particular purpose. A Winner who is ineligible for a Prize, or is unable to or who does not accept or utilize a Prize, for any reason warrants to the Sponsor that the Winner shall not make any claim against the Sponsor for such ineligibility. 

8.2- Subject to any specific prize restrictions stated in Sub-Clause 8.5 [Specific Prize Restrictions], each Winner acknowledges their responsibility for any and all fees, charges and taxes applicable to the Prize, which may not be issued without payment for taxes including withholding taxes and fees. Prizes are non-extendable, non-transferable and non-cashable. No cash redemption or prize substitutions by Winner are allowed. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value in Sponsor’s discretion. Where required by law, Winner may have to pay withholding taxes to Sponsor for the latter to fulfil its tax obligations. All Prizes awarded under the Raffle may be considered income for purposes of applicable taxes and for government programs in Your country of residence.

8.3- Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify You, any Participant or Winner who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Raffle, or violates the Official Rules, or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY YOU OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE RAFFLE MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

8.4- You warrant that You shall not make any claim against the Sponsor and / or its agencies for any technical, hardware or software malfunctions, telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Raffle which may operate such that it limits the ability to participate or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this Raffle. At all times, the Sponsor reserves the right to modify or cancel the Raffle in accordance with applicable laws if it becomes technically corrupted. In such event, Sponsor will award Prizes via random drawing from eligible entries received prior to cancellation.

8.5 SPECIFIC PRIZE RESTRICTIONS

8.5.1- In addition to the restrictions stated above, the below restrictions may apply depending on the Prize awarded:

Prize Restrictions: Qatar Duty Free Vouchers           

a. Vouchers are valid for six (6) months from September 01^st 2024 to March 01^st 2025.

b. The value of the vouchers must be fully utilized and cannot be substituted for cash.

8.5.2- Prize Restrictions: Qatar Airways Business Class Tickets and Discover Qatar Stopover Package    

a. Tickets shall be utilised within six (6) months from September 01^st 2024 to March 01^st 2025.

b. Blackout dates apply from November 27^th 2024 to December 06^th 2024

c. All travel and hotel arrangements shall be booked through Qatar Airways in compliance with instructions given to the Winners.

d. The validity period for the Prize tickets are not extendable and Prize tickets cannot be rebooked.

e. Winners must travel together with their companion and must have valid government-issued documents as required for the itinerary and be legally able to travel without a legal guardian or parent.

f.. Travel is on Qatar Airways operated flights only. For avoidance of doubt, travel on any code share partners/flights, oneworld alliance, and interline partnership are excluded from the Prizes.

g. The Prize tickets will be issued as electronic tickets. Travel is subject to availability and flight schedules are subject to change without notice.

h. The Discover Qatar Stopover Package must be utilised along with the Business Class Tickets prize.

i.  Winners are responsible for visa(s), passport(s), and transportation to and from the specified departure city, and/or lodging expenses, meals, and other travel expenses (including in respect of any quarantine or isolation requirements that may be in operation).

j. The Business Class Tickets prize does not entitle the ticket holder to any mileage credit as part of the Qatar Airways Privilege Club program and shall not be eligible for earning avios points.

k. Winners must provide full details of their guest so that vouchers, tickets and packages can be issued.                       

9. PUBLICITY RELEASE:

If You consent, the Sponsor shall collect and use the Winner’s name, country of residence, photograph for advertising, promotional and/or publicity purposes in trade communications and on Qatar Airways Trade Portal Website without any obligation or consideration or counter-part whether financial or otherwise, except for the awarding of the Prize to the Winner. In case that the Winner intends to make any public statement regarding his/her win on the Raffle and/or Prizes, such public statement shall not contain anything that is derogatory, misleading or that would harm the reputation of the Sponsor and/or be otherwise detrimental to the Sponsor’s reputation.

10. PRIVACY:

10.1- YouQatar Airways shall process Your personal data based on the Official Rules of this Raffle and in accordance with Qatar Airways Privacy Notice (as may be amended from time to time) located at https://www.qatarairways.com/en/legal/privacy-policy.html and as permitted by law.

10.2- Personal data submitted in connection with the Raffle shall be processed to allow You to participate in the Raffle, allow us to administer the Raffle, where You are a Winner to inform You of this, for verifying a Winner’s eligibility, to process the delivery of and distribution of the Prizes, to measure the response to Raffle and for any other purposes disclosed in these Official Rules.

10.3- As Sponsor, we shall process Your name, email address, Your country of residence, age verification documentation and personal identification documentation. Any personal data provided to the Sponsor shall be used solely in connection with the Raffle. We shall retain any personal data provided for a maximum of ninety (90) days from the date of selection of the Winners or for such longer period in order to administer these Official Rules.

10.4- Winners of the Raffle may be required to submit proof of identity and proof of residency information in accordance with applicable laws for the purpose of verifying a Winner’s eligibility.

11. RELEASE OF LIABILITY:

A Winner who is ineligible for a Prize, or is unable to or who does not accept or utilize a Prize, for any reason or for no reason, shall not make any claim against the Sponsor. SPONSOR'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE RAFFLE SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE VALUE OF THE PRIZE. SPONSOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE YOU FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE RAFFLE OR THESE OFFICIAL RULES INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFIT, OR REVENUE. NOTHING IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES SHALL OPERATE TO EXCLUDE OR LIMIT SPONSOR'S OR ITS AFFILIATES' LIABILITY FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY RESULTING FROM SPONSOR'S OR ITS AFFILIATES’ NEGLIGENCE, FOR FRAUD OR FRAUDULENT MISREPRESENTATION OR FOR ANY OTHER LIABILITY WHICH MAY NOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED BY LAW.

12. FORCE MAJEURE:

EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE EXPRESSLY SET OUT IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES QATAR AIRWAYS AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, DIVISIONS, AND ITS EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY FAILURE TO PERFORM, OR DELAY IN PERFORMANCE OF, ANY OF THEIR RESPECTIVE OBLIGATIONS THAT ARE CAUSED BY EVENTS OUTSIDE OF THEIR REASONABLE CONTROL. QATAR AIRWAYS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE IF THE RAFFLE TERMINATES OR ANY PRIZE CANNOT BE USED OR REDEEMED DUE TO ACTS OF GOD, WAR, TERRORISM, EXPLOSIONS, FIRES, FLOODS, EPIDEMIC, PANDEMIC OR OTHER NATURAL CALAMITIES, BAD WEATHER, STRIKES, RIOT, CIVIL DISRUPTION, INTERNET FAILURES, OR ACTS OF THE WINNER, OR FOR ANY OTHER OCCURRENCES WHICH ARE OUTSIDE OF QATAR AIRWAYS’ REASONABLE CONTROL.

13. DISCLAIMERS:

Where permitted by law, if this Raffle cannot be administered as contemplated for any reason not caused by Sponsor, the Sponsor reserves the right to at any time, in its sole discretion suspend, modify or terminate the Raffle, Winner selection, or Prizes without prior notice. The Sponsor shall not be liable for any entry which is not received or which is incomplete or damaged or which is invalid for any other reason.

14. GOVERNING LAW:

14.1.- This Raffle including the Official Rules in addition to all issues and questions concerning this Raffle shall be governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Qatari courts. THIS RAFFLE IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR SO RESTRICTED BY LAW.

14.2.- Where, in relation to contracts with consumers (being individuals acting in a private capacity), the laws of Your country of residence (“Laws”) require that:

a. The Laws shall apply to any such contract; and

b. You may bring proceedings in the courts of Your country of residence (“Courts”), then the Promotion and these Official Rules shall be governed by the Laws and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts.
