A new and enhanced Stopover for the Purpose of Connection (STPC) experience is now available, applicable for all new bookings.

Managed by Discover Qatar, the STPC Stopover Package will offer eligible Qatar Airways transit passengers a more seamless booking experience, greater flexibility, and increased control over their stopover in Doha.

What's Changing?

Eligible passengers, in accordance with the STPC policies, can now benefit from an improved STPC booking journey, including:

• A simplified eligibility check and booking experience, with an instant eligibility decision through the Qatar Airways Trade portal.
• A Transit Voucher for eligible passengers to redeem their complimentary accommodation entitlement.
• A choice of 4- and 5-star hotels from Discover Qatar curated hotel portfolio.
• Greater flexibility to personalize the stopover, with the option to upgrade the hotel and add meal plans, tours, experiences and other services.
• Easy payment for upgrades and additional services, with any amount above the allocated Transit Voucher  value payable by card.
• Pre-travel booking confirmation, allowing passengers to finalise their accommodation and additional services before arriving in Doha.
• Complimentary return airport transfers between Hamad International Airport and the selected hotel.
• Enhanced visa support from Discover Qatar for nationalities that do not qualify for visa-free entry to Qatar.
• A smoother arrival experience, with STPC arrangements completed before travel and no need to queue for accommodation arrangements at the airport.
• Bookings must be completed at least three days before arrival in Doha. If a booking is not made in advance, passengers will follow the existing process and approach the transit desk at Hamad International Airport upon arrival.
• Passengers who are not eligible for complimentary accommodation can still book a paid transit stay.

The enhanced STPC Stopover Package is designed to provide eligible customers with a smoother and more enjoyable transit experience, from booking through to arrival in Doha.

Group Bookings

Group bookings for more than nine passengers will be handled separately through Discover Qatar customer care.
