This is likely to impact the waiting time at the immigration queues for passengers arriving on Qatar Airways flights with final destination or international to domestic transit at London Heathrow Airport (LHR) and London Gatwick Airport (LGW).
Qatar Airways passengers planning on departing the United Kingdom during the proposed strike period are requested to arrive 3 hours before their flight.
Check-in, security and lounge access will operate as normal, though customers are advised to ensure that they have the correct travel documentation for transfer as well as the final destination.

The Qatar Airways check-in counter at Hangzhou International Airport (HGH) will move from Terminal 2 to Terminal 4 starting from 16 September.
Please be advised that passengers flying onboard QR891 on Tuesday 20 September from Hangzhou International Airport to Hamad International Airport will check-in at Terminal 4 Island J. Check-in will close at 17:30.
Qatar Airways flights at London Heathrow Airport (LHR) have moved to Terminal 4, effective June 14th 2022.

Passengers in possession of a Hidden Disabilities Card or a Mask Exemption Card / medical certificate due to a medical condition will be exempt from wearing a face mask throughout their flight.
Children below 6 years old do not require a face mask.
All Qatar Airways flights to Ukraine have been temporarily suspended. We continue to closely monitor developments. Impacted passengers should visit ‘My Trip’ at qatarairways.com for available options.
Qatar Airways kindly requests passengers to arrive at least three and a half hours before their flight. There may be delays at the airport due to extra check-in procedures. Arriving early will ensure you have plenty of time to check-in safely and make your way to your gate.
Exception:
- Passengers travelling from London Heathrow (LHR), London Gatwick (LGW), Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG), Istanbul Airport (IST), Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW), Tehran (IKA) Tunis-Carthage Airport (TUN) and India should arrive at least four hours before the flight to complete check-in procedures.
- Passengers travelling from Lagos (LOS) should arrive at least five hours before the flight to complete check-in procedures.
- Due to construction works taking place at Houston Airport (IAH) Terminals, passengers should arrive at least at least four hours prior to departure to check-in counters in Terminal D.
