Check-in for rail segment

• Earliest 72 hours before train departure, the passenger will have to check-in at www.accesrail.com to print the Brightline Trains E-ticket boarding pass or download the e-ticket to their mobile phone, which includes their seat reservation.
• The passenger should arrive at the station at least 30 minutes prior to departure.
• Each segment must be checked-in individually.
• The issued travel documents are a Brightline Trains Ticket along with a bar code, and a page containing information on connections between airports and train stations.
• Infants 2 years and under do not require a train ticket and therefore do not need to be checked in. The infant must be accompanied on all services in the same compartment by an adult.
• Scheduled train departure time (indicated on the boarding pass).
• In case of flight delay, please contact Brightline customer service at the train station.

The following documents are needed for validation during the train journey:

• Train ticket: printout or on mobile device
• Flight itinerary/itinerary receipt
• Valid passport/government-issued ID card

Please keep the train ticket until the end of the journey in case of further inspections.

Transfer

Please note that the actual train number will be printed on the train ticket and not on the Qatar Airways flight ticket.  At the railway station, passengers need to be present on the platform at least five (5) minutes prior to departure to ensure adequate boarding time. 

Miami Airport:

• Tickets for passengers who arrive at or depart from Miami Airport will show “Airport Shuttle” at the bottom of the ticket and a Second page which contains instructions on how to go between Miami Airport and Brightline Miami Train Station. Passengers will use the Brightline shuttle bus.
• At Miami Brightline Train Station passengers will go from the ground level, exit through the east exit past Joe & The Juice to the pickup area to board the shuttle.At Miami Airport passengers will be able to board the shuttle at the North Terminal, Concourse D, Door 6, Bus Zone 1; Central Terminal, Concourse E, Door 11, Bus Zone 2; and South Terminal, Concourse H, Door 22, Bus Zone 4.
• Note: For passengers transiting Miami airport and Miami train station, a shuttle service will be included and indicated on the main ticket.               
  

Orlando Airport:

• At Orlando Airport passengers will make their way to Terminal C to take the Brightline train. Passengers who arrive at Terminal A and B can take the terminal link to Terminal C. Once at Terminal C, passengers can follow the signs from the pedestrian bridge to the train station.
• Passengers departing from Orlando Airport can follow the signage from the train station to the pedestrian bridge to Terminal C. From Terminal C passengers can take the terminal link if they are departing from Terminal A and B.

Unaccompanied Minors

Minors under 13 years old may not travel unaccompanied. They must travel with another passenger who is at least 18 years old.  Children ages 13 and above may ride alone, but we strongly suggest that they carry identification showing their name, address, home phone number and the name and phone number of the person who will be meeting them. Brightline takes no responsibility for assuring that unaccompanied minors board the train or detrain at their destination. Only children 12 and under are eligible to receive a Children's fare discount.

Meals

Brightline does not provide special meals to its rail passengers free of charge. 
SMART Guests can purchase food and beverages onboard by scanning the QR code at their seat. Their purchase will then be delivered right to their seat.

Landing at the airport and transferring to the train

Baggage will not be checked through to the final railway station therefore after landing at the Airport, passengers can pick up their luggage at the regular luggage claim area and follow the signs to the long-distance railway station.

Taking the train to the airport and transferring to your flight

When arriving at the Airport long-distance railway station, passengers must leave the train with their luggage and look for the Qatar Airways luggage drop-off.

Pets

Passengers may bring their cat or dog on board in a carrier. Pets must be added to the reservation at least 10 minutes prior to train departure. This can be done at the train station. Fees may apply.
