Transportation and parking
There is a limited city bus service transporting passengers from the centre of the city to Ahmedabad Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, it is a cheap way of getting to the airport but not particularly convenient if you are carrying a lot of luggage.
A better alternative is to ask your hotel to arrange a taxi or limousine service. Taxis arrive outside Terminal 1. Plan in advance, as journey times can be affected by traffic conditions.
If you’re hailing a cab, look for those run by the Taxi Drivers Association. There are 900 parking spaces at Terminal 2 and over 1,000 at Terminal 1. Further car parking facilities are available at Terminal 3.
