Promo code

  • Promo code redemption period: Valid until 30 September 2021
  • Travel period: Valid until 31 March 2022. All travels must be completed by 31 March 2022.
  • Blackout dates apply: 15 December 2021 to 7 January 2022
  • Promo code applies to Economy Class tickets only.
  • Promo codes distributed during the first healthcare professionals initiative (MEDXXXXXX) are not valid for redemption during the extension offer period.
  • Old or disabled promo codes will not be reissued within the campaign expiry window, starting at 23:59 on 29 September 2021 and ending at midnight on 30 September 2021. All times are in local time.
  • Ticket fare and surcharges will be waived, however, taxes are payable by the passenger.
  • The promo code is valid for a single booking for up to two adult tickets (age 12+) for the healthcare professional and a companion. Child/infant tickets (with seat, aged below 12 years) will be priced at regular fare without any discount, the booking for children or infants must be made separate from the healthcare professional booking.
  • Eligible healthcare professionals will be entitled to one booking during the campaign period. If more than one booking is made, the first booking will be retained and any subsequent bookings will be cancelled automatically. 
  • Bookings must be made at least 14 days prior to departure.
  • Tickets are limited, promo codes used for redemption will be shared through email to eligible customers.
  • Personal information submitted on the registration form during the initial campaign in May 2020 (Passport number) is required to match one of the passengers (healthcare professional) within the booking. 
  • Our latest Travel With Confidence policy applies to involuntary flight cancellation, re-timing or rerouting of Medics Extension Offer tickets
  • Passengers who already have an existing booking, will not receive new promo codes, however they are encouraged to update their dates or destination to any Qatar Airways operated flights using the 'Manage  booking' self-service online or mobile app. 
  • This offer cannot be combined with any other promotion which includes the redemption of ‘Thank You Vouchers’, ‘E-Vouchers’ or ‘EMDs’ at payment page before booking a ticket.
  • Qatar Airways will not be held responsible for any fare differences if a customer does not enter the unique promo code when searching for flights.
  • The promo code is valid on Qatar Airways one-way, return and multicity operated flight itineraries worldwide, excluding codeshare and interline partnerships. Refer to the Qatar Airways operated destinations list below. Customers need to make the necessary arrangements in order to travel to one of the Qatar Airways’ online/operated gateways where first sector of the itinerary will be initiated.
  • In the case where healthcare professionals (main booker) choose not to or cannot travel then the companion will not be accepted for travel. This rule will be applied on both the outbound and inbound flight sectors.
  • Under no circumstances should a booking be split into two separate PNRs/bookings. The healthcare professional (main booker) and companion must remain under one PNR for the entire journey until completed. In cases where bookings are split, the companion will be denied boarding and the healthcare professional (main booker) will be a allowed to board the flight.
  • No change in companion is permitted after the booking is confirmed. If such cases arise the healthcare professional can decide to keep the existing booking or cancel the booking to receive a refund, in this case no new promo code will be shared under the healthcare professional Extension offer period.
  • Tickets are non-endorsable and non-transferable, once a booking is made no further changes will be accepted or new promo codes issued in the case where an error occurred during the booking process by the customer/healthcare professional.
  • Tickets are fully flexible, with an unlimited number of destination or date changes allowed without any fees. However, in case of volountary changes, customers will need to pay the difference in taxes where applicable.
  • Price displayed at the time of booking will include the total amount of taxes to be paid. Base fare and surcharges will be waived.
  • Seats are limited and are subject to availability.
  • This offer cannot be combined with any other promotion.
