Flying from Ahmedabad

Food outlets keep you well supplied with delicious light snacks and meals, while the range of retail outlets gives you the chance to pick up those last-minute gifts.
Transportation and parking
There is a limited city bus service transporting passengers from the centre of the city to Ahmedabad Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, it is a cheap way of getting to the airport but not particularly convenient if you are carrying a lot of luggage. A better alternative is to ask your hotel to arrange a taxi or limousine service. Taxis arrive outside Terminal 1. Plan in advance, as journey times can be affected by traffic conditions. If you’re hailing a cab, look for those run by the Taxi Drivers Association. There are 900 parking spaces at Terminal 2 and over 1,000 at Terminal 1. Further car parking facilities are available at Terminal 3.
Arriving at Ahmedabad Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport
Passengers flying from Ahmedabad with Qatar Airways depart from the award-winning Terminal 2. There are four aerobridges and 32 check-in counters, so you should arrive at least two hours in advance to check in and clear customs.
Facilities and amenities
The airport is modern and bright, and the open spaces of Terminal 2 provide plenty of room for passengers, even at peak travel times. Wheelchairs and special assistance is available for disabled travellers. If you require assistance you should notify both Qatar Airways and the airport prior to travelling. Other facilities include banking and ATM machines in Terminal 2, Internet connection throughout most public areas, and a good selection of retail and dining opportunities, as well as a Duty Free outlet in T2.

The Clock Tower is next to the Grand Mosque, and because of its hilltop position it offers panoramic views of Doha and the Corniche.
Doha Heritage Village is located along the Corniche in Al Rumeilia Park, and is based on a traditional Qatari village.
