Our carbon offset programme is built on a partnership with the International Air Transport Association's Carbon Offset Programme. Credits bought to offset these emissions are from projects delivering independently-verified carbon reductions, as well as wider environmental and social benefits.

Travel comfortably in our modern, young and fuel-efficient fleet of Airbus A350s. 

Our internal benchmark compared the carbon emissions of our Airbus A380 to the A350 on some of our longest routes. On a typical one-way flight, we found the A380 emitted over 80% more CO₂ per block hour, approximately 16 tonnes, than the A350.

Until passenger demand recovers to more appropriate levels, we will continue to keep our A380 aircraft grounded, ensuring we only operate a commercially and environmentally responsible fleet.
