Transportation and parking

Numerous limousine services operate to and from the airport, providing comfortable, air-conditioned transport that’s available for pre-booking.


There are four types of ‘limousine’ service: Category A are luxury limousines, Category B are Micro Buses for up to seven passengers, Category C are midsized cars and new Category D are London Taxis. Ordinary taxis are available too – it is best to look for the newer white taxis rather than the older black and white operators.


There are a total of 3,612 parking spaces available, distributed around the airport. Qatar Airways passengers should head for the Departure Hall 1 parking area (930 spaces), the long-term car park (775 spaces) or the VIP parking area (400 spaces).

Arriving at Cairo International Airport

Passengers flying from Cairo with Qatar Airways depart from Terminal 1 Hall 1. There are three lounges – the English, the Italian and the American lounge, as well as a VIP lounge.
