    Germany’s second largest airline serves 84 destinations in 28 countries. The airline's hubs are Berlin, Düsseldorf, Palma de Mallorca and Vienna.

    airberlin affiliate NIKI is the second biggest airline in Austria and also a member of oneworld.

    American Airlines

    American Airlines is a founding member of oneworld and operates from major hubs across the USA, including Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix and Washington DC, to 356 destinations in 57 countries.

    British Airways

    British Airways is one of the world’s most recognised airlines and a founding member of the oneworld alliance. The airline and its affiliates service 235 destinations in nearly 90 countries throughout Europe, North America, South America, Asia, Africa and Australia, with its main hub London Heathrow.

    Cathay Pacific

    Cathay Pacific Airways is Hong Kong’s flagship carrier and a founding member of the oneworld alliance. The airline serves some 98 destinations in 35 countries across Asia, the Pacific, Europe, North America, the Middle East and Africa.

    Finnair

    Finnair is Finland’s flagship carrier. The airline flies to 135 destinations in 45 countries, including an increasing number of longhaul international flights to and from Asia, with its Helsinki hub ideally placed as a gateway between the Far East and Europe.

    Iberia

    Iberia is Spain’s flagship airline and the leading carrier between Europe and Latin America. It joined oneworld in 1999. From its Madrid hub, it flies to 135 destinations in 45 countries across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the Americas.

    Japan Airlines

    Established in 1951, Japan Airlines is one of the world’s premier carriers. It joined the oneworld alliance in 2007. The airline has major hubs at Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya and Okinawa, and operates almost 900 daily flights to 80 destinations across 21 countries.

    LATAM Airlines

    Widely recognised as Latin America's leading airline group, LATAM Airlines was created through the merger of LAN Airlines, TAM Airlines and their affiliates, with hubs at Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires, Bogota, Lima, Quito and Guayaquil.

    Malaysia Airlines

    With its main operating hub in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Airlines flies to 62 destinations across Asia, Australia, Europe, the Middle East and North America.

    Qantas

    Qantas is one of the world’s most recognised airlines and a founding member of the oneworld alliance. As the only Australian airline in any global airline alliance, it offers an extensive domestic network besides serving points in Asia, the South Pacific, Europe, North and South America and Africa.

    Qatar Airways

    Named Airline of the Year by the Skytrax independent airline quality rating agency in 2015 and runner-up in 2013, it is also Skytrax's Best Middle East Airline for eight years running and has retained Skytrax's five star quality ranking since 2004.

    Royal Jordanian

    Royal Jordanian is the national carrier of the Kingdom of Jordan. It serves 54 destinations in 33 countries throughout the Middle East – where it offers one of the most extensive networks of any airline – and to Europe, Asia, Africa and North America.

    S7 Airlines

    S7 Airlines is Russia’s largest domestic carrier. It joined the oneworld alliance in 2010. Based at Moscow Domodedovo Airport, the airline operates flights to 124 destinations in 29 countries throughout Europe, the Middle East and Asia (including 45 destinations in Russia).

    SriLankan Airlines

    Tracing its origins back to 1947, SriLankan Airlines today is the flag carrier airline for Sri Lanka but also the largest international airline serving the Maldives and with a significant presence in southern India too. SriLankan Airlines joined oneworld in May 2014.

    Other benefits

    Qatar Airways is pleased to offer passengers the courtesy of through check of themselves and their bags to their final destination when travelling on multi-sector journeys involving connections onto other oneworld member airlines, even when the trip is booked using separate tickets.

    However, customers should note that through check may not be possible on their return journey if their trip starts with another airline that does not provide the same level of service.

    We know your time is precious and you would prefer to relax in one of the 650 oneworld lounges rather than wait in line at airport security. That is why, at select airports worldwide, oneworld Emerald frequent flyers can access the ‘Fast Track’ or ‘Priority Lanes' at security check points no matter which cabin they are travelling in.

    Due to restrictions or local agreements with Security Fast Track facility operators, not all oneworld carriers are currently able to extend this benefit to all Emerald tier customers.

    Privilege Club members can earn Qmiles and Qpoints on booking classes for flights marketed** and operated*** by any oneworld airline without having to join a separate frequent flyer programme. 

    The number of Qmiles you can earn when flying with one of the oneworld member airlines depends on the airline, cabin, and booking class of travel.

    Privilege Club members can also redeem their Qmiles for complimentary flights operated** by oneworld airlines or for journeys involving sectors**** on any number of oneworld carriers.

    *** Operated refers to the airline you are flying on.

    If your oneworld frequent flyer tier status is Emerald or Sapphire, or you are travelling in a First or Business Class cabin on any oneworld member airline, you can access more than 650 airport lounges throughout the world. This means you can relax or catch up with work in comfort and style before departure, regardless of which oneworld member airline you choose to fly with.

    • To be eligible, you must be departing on a flight that is both marketed and operated by a oneworld member airline.
    • Qatar Airways Premium Lounges are not included in oneworld lounge access policy. However, oneworld customers holding First or Business Class tickets on Qatar Airways or other oneworld members are invited to use the lounges.
    • Some lounges may get busy at peak times, and access to them may be restricted as a result.
    • A non-affiliated third party may operate some lounges on behalf of the individual airline. Access to some lounges operated by third-parties on behalf of oneworld member airlines may be restricted at some times.
    • Arrivals lounges are excluded.
    • Spa and pre-flight dining facilities are excluded.
    • British Airways Concorde lounges are excluded.

    Enjoy exclusive access to premium airport lounges around the world with oneworld Emerald or Sapphire frequent flyer tier status. Members of oneworld airline frequent flyer programmes with the equivalent of oneworld Emerald or Sapphire tier status can use any lounge offered by any oneworld airline when departing on any flight marketed and operated by any oneworld member airline, regardless of cabin class being flown.

    Emerald tier frequent flyers can use First Class, Business Class or frequent flyer lounges.

    • Sapphire tier frequent flyers are welcome in Business Class* or frequent flyer lounges. *Does not include Qantas Domestic Business Lounges
    • Emerald and Sapphire members may invite one guest to join them in the lounge. The guest must also be travelling on a flight operated and marketed by a oneworld carrier.
    • You must be prepared to show your boarding pass and frequent flyer membership card, with oneworld Emerald or Sapphire tier status, to access a lounge.

    The following exceptions apply:

    • American Airlines and Qantas offer programmes enabling customers to pay to gain access to their lounges. These programmes are not part of the oneworld agreement, and members of these programmes are not entitled to access lounges under the oneworld agreement.
    • American Airlines AAdvantage® members, regardless of their tier status or class of travel, are not eligible for lounge access when travelling solely on North American flights within or between the U.S., Canada, Mexico (except Mexico City), the Bahamas, Bermuda and the Caribbean.     • Qantas Frequent Flyer Gold members, regardless of their oneworld tier status, cannot access Qantas Domestic Business Lounges.
    • Qatar Airways Premium Lounges are not included in oneworld lounge access policy. However, oneworld customers holding First or Business Class tickets on Qatar Airways or other oneworld members are invited to use the lounges.
    • Guests are not permitted in Qatar Airways Premium lounges.
    • TAM First Class Lounge in Sao Paulo Guarulhos International Airport is excluded.

    Indulge yourself before departure in a wider range of airport lounges when you fly First Class or Business Class with any oneworld member airline.

    • Customers flying First or Business Class have access to the equivalent class of lounge regardless of their frequent flyer status. First Class passengers may use a Business Class or frequent flyer lounge if a First Class lounge is not available.
    • First Class passengers may invite one guest to join them in the lounge. The guest must also be travelling on a flight operated and marketed by a oneworld airline.

    Connecting between oneworld marketed and operated flights:

    • First and Business Class customers connecting on the same day of travel, or before 6am the following day, can access the lounge when travelling between an international long haul* and an international short haul or domestic flight (and vice-versa). (* a oneworld international long haul flight is defined as an international flight marketed and operated by any oneworld carrier with a scheduled flight time longer than 5 hours)
    • Lounge access will be determined on the international long haul ticketed flight (either First of Business Class) regardless of the ticketed class of travel on the international short haul or domestic flight.
    • You must be prepared to show your boarding pass or itinerary showing travel in First or Business Class on the international long haul flight, in order to access the lounge before your international short haul or domestic flight.

    The following exceptions apply:

    • First and Business Class customers who do not hold Emerald or Sapphire tier status are not eligible to access American Airlines lounges when travelling on solely domestic flights within the U.S. or between the U.S. and Canada, Mexico [except Mexico City], the Bahamas, Bermuda and the Caribbean); customers travelling in First or Business Class on U.S. transcontinental flights between JFK-LAX, JFK-SFO and MIA-LAX (and vice-versa) are eligible for lounge access.
    • Guests are not permitted in Qatar Airways Premium lounges.

  • Global support

    Connecting between airlines at unfamiliar airports can be a stressful experience, especially if your flight is delayed. oneworld recognises the impact delays and missed connections can have on your plans and on your life. That is why oneworld member airlines have partnered together to form teams of connection experts: oneworld Global Support.

    At select airports across the alliance network, teams are proactively monitoring connecting flights and, whenever possible, they will meet and assist you if your connection is in jeopardy. The oneworld Global Support teams will do their best to allow you to use dedicated fast track lanes through immigration or security to help you catch your next flight. Our teams will also do everything possible to transfer your baggage so that it makes it on time to your final destination.

    If you miss your connecting flight, the oneworld Global Support team will provide you with updated travel information, a new boarding pass and, where applicable, assistance with overnight accommodations.

    oneworld Global Support is currently available at Boston, Chicago O’Hare, Dallas/Fort Worth, Helsinki, Hong Kong, London Heathrow, Los Angeles, Madrid, Miami, New York JFK and Tokyo Narita. The service is offered at these airports whenever possible, subject to operational constraints.
