Qatar Airways passengers flying on QR914 and QR915 between Doha and Auckland are advised that due to the stop in Australia prior to landing in New Zealand, they are required to hold a valid Australian Visa.

In line with the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority Regulations and the latest updates issued by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the regulations governing the carriage of power banks containing lithium batteries during travel have been updated as follows:

• Maximum of two power banks permitted per passenger.
• Power bank capacity ≤100 Watt-hours.
• Power banks must be carried in the cabin only – never in checked baggage.
• In-flight charging of power banks is prohibited.
• Charging terminals must be protected to prevent damage or short circuits.
• Power banks should remain accessible (not in overhead stowage or side storage lockers) to enable rapid crew response.
• Check and comply with any additional airline restrictions before travel.

Failure to comply with dangerous goods restrictions or air crew instructions may result in legal action.
