If you wish to take more than your allotted baggage allowance, you can pay to check-in additional or overweight baggage.

The rates and conditions below are applicable for Qatar Airways operated flights only. If your itinerary includes flights operated by other airlines, please contact the nearest Qatar Airways ticket office or our call centre so that our colleagues can check your ticket and advise on the applicable excess baggage charges.

In case of Qatar Airways operated flights, excess and overweight baggage charges are dependent on the regions you are travelling between.

For flights to/from Argentina and North America, charges are based on the following per piece rate:

• One extra piece weighing up to 32 kgs for Business Class customers and up to 23 kgs for Economy Class customers – 200 USD (QAR 730 per piece from Qatar)
• For Economy Class customers only: overweight piece weighing between 23 kgs and 32 kgs – 50 USD (QAR 190 per piece from Qatar)

For flights to/from Brazil, charges are based on the following per piece rate:

• One extra piece weighing up to 32 kgs for Business Class or  Economy Class – USD 200 USD (QAR 730 per piece from Qatar)
• One extra piece weighing up to 23 kgs for Business Class or  Economy Class – USD 50 USD – Valid only between Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires
