Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport is Serbia’s primary international gateway, offering a modern and efficient start to your global journey from the capital city. As a key transport hub for the region, you can expect a smooth departure experience through its well-organised terminal. To ensure you have plenty of time for check-in and security, we recommend arriving at the airport at least two hours before your scheduled departure.
Getting to the airport is straightforward, located just 18 kilometres west of central Belgrade. The A1 Minibus Service offers a quick and comfortable direct connection from Slavija Square. Alternatively, you can use the city bus line 72, which is a more affordable option with stops throughout the city. Taxis are also readily available, but ensure you agree on the fare beforehand or use a licensed airport transfer service. If you are driving, ample short- and long-term parking spaces are situated near the terminal buildings. Once inside, you will find a variety of shops and dining options to enjoy before you board your flight.
Embark on an adventure in Yerevan, a destination renowned for its rich history and modern creativity. Follow your own rhythm as you roam around the city, boasting a mix of fascinating heritage and artistic flair.
Begin your journey by wandering through its streets, filled with signature pink stone buildings that give it a warm glow. Then explore the Erebuni Fortress, an ancient archaeological site with walls that are nearly 3,000 years old, and uncover the origins of one of the world’s oldest cities.
To admire urban wonders and natural scenery from above, head to the Cascade Complex. This impressive open‑air landmark features terraces, fountains and contemporary sculptures. You'll reach a new viewpoint at each level as you climb, and at the top, you'll enjoy sweeping vistas across Yerevan and towards Mount Ararat. Inside the adjoining Cafesjian Center for the Arts, you’ll find exhibitions displaying unique pieces by both regional and international artists.
For an unforgettable experience, discover Yerevan’s vibrant cultural scene. Watch shows at the Armenian National Opera and Ballet Theatre throughout the year, or outdoor performances in the city’s squares during the warmer months. When you’re ready for a slower pace, stroll through the beautifully landscaped Lovers’ Park, or browse handmade crafts at Vernissage, a vivid local market.
