Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport is Serbia’s primary international gateway, offering a modern and efficient start to your global journey from the capital city. As a key transport hub for the region, you can expect a smooth departure experience through its well-organised terminal. To ensure you have plenty of time for check-in and security, we recommend arriving at the airport at least two hours before your scheduled departure.
Getting to the airport is straightforward, located just 18 kilometres west of central Belgrade. The A1 Minibus Service offers a quick and comfortable direct connection from Slavija Square. Alternatively, you can use the city bus line 72, which is a more affordable option with stops throughout the city. Taxis are also readily available, but ensure you agree on the fare beforehand or use a licensed airport transfer service. If you are driving, ample short- and long-term parking spaces are situated near the terminal buildings. Once inside, you will find a variety of shops and dining options to enjoy before you board your flight.
Jeddah is a fascinating cultural melting pot, shaped by centuries of history as a vital Red Sea port. The city’s atmosphere is dynamic and progressive, seamlessly blending traditional Saudi culture with international influences, visible in its diverse culinary and art scenes.
Begin your exploration at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Al-Balad, the historic heart of the city. Here, you can wander through a maze of narrow alleyways to admire the unique coral-stone tower houses and their beautifully carved wooden balconies, known as 'rawasheen'. The bustling souks, such as Souq Al-Alawi, are ideal for browsing aromatic spices, textiles and local handicrafts.
To admire beautiful panoramas, stroll along the expansive Jeddah Corniche, a scenic waterfront promenade that features parks, restaurants and a sculpture museum. This stunning coast-side area is dominated by the spectacular King Fahd's Fountain, the world’s tallest of its kind, celebrated for its mesmerising display.
