Remember, our new tier renewal guidelines come into effect on 31 March 2024. This means that your tier could change to Burgundy if you haven’t collected or spent Avios, or purchased Qpoints, in the past 24 months from your tier expiry date.
If you haven’t earned the Qpoints needed by the time your tier expires – but have collected or spent Avios or purchased Qpoints, at least once within 24 months before your tier expires – it will be downgraded to the tier below. For example, a Platinum tier will be downgraded to Gold.
Don’t worry if you haven’t purchased Qpoints, or collected or spent Avios, by the time your tier expires – you can still enjoy Burgundy tier benefits.

Tier renewal program changes effective from 31 March 2024Once your Membership Tier is renewed, it will be valid for twelve (12) months.
Should the Member fail to retain his or her existing Membership Tier, he or she shall be downgraded to:
(i) the next lower tier, provided that there has been activity (accrual or redemption) on your account over the previous 24 months. This means that an existing Platinum Tier Member will become Gold, and an existing Gold Tier Member becomes Silver; and
(ii) the Burgundy Membership Tier, if there has been no activity (accrual or redemption) on your account over the previous 24 months.

- Only Privilege Club main members are eligible to buy Qpoints.
- Purchase of Qpoints is available online only.
- Cost per Qpoint is US$15.
- Only Platinum, Gold and Silver members are eligible to purchase Qpoints with the purpose of retaining their current membership tier.
- Only Gold, Silver and Burgundy members are eligible to purchase Qpoints with the purpose of upgrade to the next tier.
- Qpoints purchased are non-refundable and non-transferable.
