DOHA, Qatar – Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker recently met with the European Commissioner of Transport, Violeta Bulc, in Brussels to discuss aviation cross-border matters and overall industry growth.
Mr. Al Baker shared with Ms. Bulc the major milestones for Qatar Airways, including its strategy and growth plans in Europe and beyond.
Furthermore, Mr. Al Baker outlined Qatar Airways’ commitment to Europe and to providing a high-quality product for the airline’s global passenger base.
Commented Mr. Al Baker: “The European Union forms a significant part of Qatar Airways’ network, operating flights to gateways in nearly every city in the continent; facilitating growth, trade and overall ease of travel with convenient connections and access to many markets in Africa, the Middle East and Australasia.”
Qatar Airways currently flies to 33 destinations in Europe, and serves a total of 146 destinations worldwide.
