Days 1 and 2: Istanbul

Begin your adventure in Istanbul, where east meets west. Spend a couple of days exploring the iconic Hagia Sophia, exquisite Blue Mosque, and treasures of the Topkapi Palace – home to the Ottoman sultans for nearly 400 years.

Haggle for bargains in the Grand Bazaar, watch the incredible whirling dervishes, or take a cruise on the Bosphorus and see the sunset over Istanbul’s skyline. Don’t forget to visit the Galata Tower, where according to legend, the first unpowered flight took place in the 17th century.

Days 3 – 5: Ephesus and Bodrum

After roaming around Istanbul, stop by Ephesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most important cities in the Roman Empire. Discover the different civilisations that influenced Turkish culture, from pre-historic to modern times.

Then travel down the coast to arrive in Bodrum, a charming region lined with luxurious resorts and scenic beaches. It’s perfect for relaxing with family or enjoying some water sports for two days. To admire picturesque views, take a ride along the shoreline in a Gulet boat.

Day 6: Antalya

Go further down the coast to Antalya, boasting endless beaches where you can play action-packed water sports. It’s also one of the best spots in the Mediterranean to go scuba diving, with crystal-clear, warm water and several shipwreck diving sites.

To wind down after an adventurous day, relax at one of the beach clubs and let the sound of the waves soothe you. If you’re on a trip with the kids, head to family-friendly theme parks and make unforgettable memories.

Day 7: Cappadocia

Venture inland to reach Cappadocia, the final stop on your tour of Türkiye and world-famous for hot air ballooning. At dawn, drift above an awe-inspiring landscape in a hot air balloon. Once you’re back on the ground, wander through the valleys of Cappadocia, home to underground cities including the vast Derinkuyu.

Endlessly fascinating, they’re ideal for taking a break from the sunshine. Find authentic souvenirs at Tour Goreme’s souqs, and book a table at one of the restaurants serving delicious local dishes.
