Day 1: Qatari culture

Kick off your cultural journey at the Museum of Islamic Art, home to one of the world’s largest collections, housed in an impressive structure designed by I.M. Pei. Grab a quick coffee at the corniche, only a few steps away, then make your way to Msheireb Downtown – a sustainable urban district filled with boutiques and cafés.

In the evening, head to Souq Waqif to wander through stalls filled with textiles, spices and gold jewellery before enjoying a meal in one of the area’s atmospheric restaurants.

Day 2: Coastline and desert

Aim for an early start – it’s a packed day two! First, head to Katara Cultural Village, where theatres, galleries and classical architecture showcase Qatar’s nuanced culture. Grab lunch at The Pearl for marina-side dining and a stroll around the waterfront.

If you want to head further out, you can rent a 4x4 to explore Khor Al Adaid, the Inland Sea, where towering dunes meet the sea. Take a desert safari for a memorable adventure before capping the day with dinner in West Bay.

In the afternoon, stroll around the creative hub of the Doha Design District. Finish with a dhow cruise to admire the skyline one last time before heading back to Hamad International Airport for your flight.
