1. Part A - Promoter and Competition Details

1.1    The Qatar Airways Book to Win Competition (hereafter the Competition) is promoted by Qatar Airways Group (Q.C.S.C), ACN 105 742 916 (hereafter the Promoter).

1.2    Information on prizes and how to enter form part of these Terms and Conditions. By entering the Competition, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Part B – Eligibility Criteria

2.1    Entry is open to all Australian residents aged 18 years or above (excluding NT and Tasmanian residents, who are ineligible), except for the employees of the Promoter and their immediate families. Employees of the Promoter’s associated agencies, or companies associated with the Competition and their immediate families, are ineligible to enter.

2.2    The term “Australian residents” means citizens and permanent residents of Australia. Individuals on a tourist visa, student visa or any other temporary visa cannot enter this Competition.

2.3    The Promoter reserves the right to verify entry validity and participant eligibility (including identity, age and residence) at any time and reserves the right to disqualify individuals that have breached these Terms and Conditions.

2.4    If requested by the Promoter, a participant must prove evidence of eligibility to the Promoter.

2.5    The term “valid return flight booking” means an eligible Passenger Name Record ("PNR") for return flights booked directly with Qatar Airways via Qatar Airways official website (www.qatarairways.com), mobile website or mobile app or via a verified booking agent. Bookings made automatically via Online Travel Agents without a human consultant are not eligible to enter.

3. Part C – How to Enter the Competition

3.1    To enter, customers must have purchased a valid return flight ticket with either a Qatar Airways or Virgin Australia flight number to Doha, or with a scheduled stopover in Doha, during the period starting from 12:00 AM AEDT on 16 February 2026 to 11:59 PM AEDT on 31 March 2026 (“Competition Period”) to travel from 16 February 2026 and latest by 31 October 2026.

3.2    The booking must originate from one of the following Australian cities: Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney or Perth, with travel to Doha or with a scheduled stopover in Doha.  

3.3    Participants must submit their valid Passenger Name Record (PNR) number via the official competition landing page located at www.qatarairways.com/en-au/offers/win-the-ultimate-f1-experience.

3.4    Additionally, participants must respond to the designated creative question, 'Tell us your dream F1 destination and why?' in 80 characters or less, as part of their submission.

3.5    There is a limit of one entry per eligible booking.

3.6    All entries will be evaluated based on the creativity and originality of the response to the competition question. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner.

3.7    There is one major prize to be won.

3.8    Entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM AEDT on 31 March 2026.

3.9    Entries that are incomplete, incorrect, or deemed inappropriate by the Promoter may be disqualified.

3.10    The Promoter is not responsible for any technical malfunctions, delays, or issues outside its reasonable control that prevent successful entry submission.

3.11    The winner will be contacted by phone and email seven (7) business days from the date the Competition ends. All reasonable attempts will be made to contact the winner.

3.12    The winner has fourteen (14) business days from the date they are notified of their win to claim their prize by confirming, via reply email, their acceptance of the prize and their ability to travel between 26 November 2026 and 30 November 2026.

3.13    If the prize is unclaimed by the winner, then the prize will be awarded to a reserve winner. Any reference to a "winner" in these Terms and Conditions includes a reserve winner where a reserve winner has been awarded the prize. A reserve winner is subject to the same prize acceptance timeframe and prize claim requirements set out in Clause 3.12.

4. Part D – The Prize

4.1    The winner will receive the one major prize consisting of:

(a)    two (2) Qatar Airways Economy Convenience Class return flight tickets departing Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth International Airport to Doha, Qatar, on 26 November 2026 and returning on 30 November 2026;

(b)    four 4-nights’ accommodation in Doha with transfers to and from Hamad International Airport;

(c)    two (2) 3-day Main Grandstand Passes to the Formula One Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix 2026 on 27 – 29 November 2026.

4.2    Booking deadline: Winner must liaise with the Promoter and complete all flight and accommodation bookings no later than 31 October 2026.

4.3    The total prize value is up to AU$15,000 depending on departure point.

4.4    The travel dates are fixed. The winner must redeem the Prize on the designated dates given by the Promoter to coincide with the Formula One Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix 2026.

4.5    The winner and their travelling companion must have valid government-issued documents as required for the itinerary and be legally able to travel without a legal guardian or a parent.

4.6    Once the flight tickets are booked, no changes to the booking are allowed.

4.7    Prize tickets are inclusive of all relevant taxes and surcharges.

4.8    If the prize winner and/or companion are located outside of the chosen city of departure, all travel to and from this location to the airport will be at the winner’s and/or companion's own expense (as the case may be).

4.9    All components of the prize must be fulfilled at the same time, and they cannot be split across different trips or time periods. The winner and travelling companion must travel and take each component of the prize together at the same time and must depart from and return to the same departure point. The winner forfeits any part of the prize not taken at the times stipulated and no cash or alternative prize will be awarded in lieu.

4.10    The winner and their travel companion are responsible for all costs associated with taking the prize, including but not limited to passport and visa/visa waiver costs, insurance, additional accommodation, additional transfers and transport costs, meals, beverages, spending money, excess baggage, travel tests, and any other ancillary costs or costs of a personal nature, other than those expressly stated as being part of the prize in these Terms and Conditions.

4.11    The winner may be required to present a credit card at the time of accommodation check-in.

4.12    The winner and companion will not accrue any frequent flyer points on the prize travel, nor will they have access to Premium airport lounges.

4.13    This prize cannot be exchanged for goods or cash, nor can it be sold to any other person, and is non-transferrable. This prize cannot be upgraded to a higher class of travel.

4.14    The Promoter reserves the right, in its discretion, to substitute a prize or part of a prize that is unavailable due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control for an alternative of equal value and/or comparable specification.

4.15    Qatar Airways takes no responsibility for any liability that may result from, or is claimed to have resulted from, the acceptance or use of this prize except for any liability that Qatar Airways is not permitted to exclude under law.

4.16    If, any aspect of the prize is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including but not limited due to war, terrorism, state of emergency, civil unrest, pandemic, epidemic, computer virus, or any other kind of disaster, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the prize.

4.17    All documentation and paperwork required for travel, as required by the relevant governments, are the responsibility of the winner and travel companion. Qatar Airways reserves the right to refuse travel if such documentation is not correct or is missing.

4.18    Terms and conditions of the relevant prize suppliers and third-party service providers apply. Qatar Airways' conditions of carriage apply to all flights.

5. Part E – Use of Participants' Details

5.1    Participants’ details will be used for the purpose of administering the Competition and awarding the prize.

5.2    By entering this Competition or accepting or participating in the prize, the winner and their companion consent to the Promoter collecting and using their name, image voice and likeness for advertising, promotional and/or publicity purposes addressed to the general public in all forms of media, including, but not limited to, on the Promoter's website, mobile application, and official social media accounts in connection with the Competition, without any obligation or consideration or counter-part whether financial or otherwise, except for the awarding of the prize to the winner as set out in these Terms and Conditions.

5.3    Participants may be filmed and photographed at the event. The winner may be required to participate in interviews for promotional and marketing activities. The participants and winner acknowledge that they will not be compensated for the use of their name, image, voice or likeness.

5.4    All intellectual property rights in the film and photographs will belong to the Promoter.

5.5    If the winner and/or their companion intend to create any publicity regarding the Competition and/or prize, such publicity must not contain anything that would harm and/or otherwise be deemed detrimental to the Promoter's reputation and/or brand image.

5.6    The Promoter's Privacy Policy and Personal Information Collection Statement can be read in full at https://www.qatarairways.com/en/legal/privacy.html. Our Privacy Policy contains information about how individuals may request access to and corrections of information we hold about them, how to complain about how we handle personal information and how we deal with such complaints. We may disclose personal information to prize organisers and service providers, for the purpose of conducting this Competition, publicising the outcome and coordinating the prize.

6. Part F – Dispute Resolution

6.1    If a participant has a dispute or complaint regarding the Competition, they must contact the Promoter at melqrinfo@au.qatarairways.com. The Promoter will endeavour to respond within five (5) business days.

6.2    If the participant is dissatisfied with the response, they may request a review. If they remain dissatisfied, they may escalate their complaint to a relevant regulatory body.

7. Part G – Limitation of Liability and Intellectual Property

7.1    Any intellectual property rights related to the Competition and any associated materials developed by the Promoter remain the property of the Promoter.

7.2    Save for any rights or guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law or other terms implied into a contract that cannot lawfully be excluded, the Promoter and their respective officers, employees, volunteers, agents and prize suppliers exclude:

(a)    any term, condition or warranty that may otherwise be implied into these Terms and Conditions;

(b)    any liability for direct, indirect, special or consequential loss (including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of revenue and loss of opportunity) arising in connection with this Competition and the prizes, including but not limited to where arising out of:

(i)    any tax liability incurred by a participant or the winner;

(ii)    any dispute between a participant and any third party relating to the participant's identity or entitlement to a prize; or

(iii)    any use or redemption of the prize.

7.3    The Promoter and their respective officers, employees, volunteers, agents and prize suppliers exclude all liabilities described in sub-section 139A(3) of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), except for liability for significant personal injury caused by their reckless conduct within the meaning given in sub-section 139A(5) of that Act.

7.4    If the Competition is interfered with or not capable of being conducted as anticipated for any reason beyond the Promoter's reasonable control, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, to the fullest extent permitted by law:

(a)    to disqualify any person; or

(b)    to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition.

8. Part H – Entire Agreement

8.1    These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Promoter and the participant.

• The offer applies on flights to all Formula 1® race destinations, with arrivals up to 7 days before race day and a maximum stay up to 21 days. 
• The Promo Code is applicable on Economy Class, Business Class or First-Class cabins.
• The Promo Code is valid on flight itineraries originating from all Qatar Airways operated airports to the below listed Formula 1® Races:

Offer conditions

• 12% on base fare in Economy Class will apply to booking class: N, S, V, L, M, K (Convenience)
• 5% on base fare in Business Class will apply to booking class: R, I (Classic) 
• 12% on base fare in Business Class will apply to booking class: I, D (Comfort)
• 12% on base fare in First Class will apply to booking classes: A (Elite) - Valid for Travel between United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman, Kuwait, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and Qatar only

Promo code applicability

• Savings apply on base fare only. The Promo code discount is deducted from the 'fare per passenger' amount visible in the price breakdown summary after flight selection. Any other taxes, service fees or standard market charges will be payable and displayed at the time of booking.
• Qatar Airways will not be held responsible for any fare differences if a customer does not enter the promo code at the time of booking.
• The incentive is valid on only on Qatar Airways operated one-way and return flight itineraries, codeshare and interline airlines are excluded. 

Changes and cancellation

• Tickets are non-endorsable and non-transferable.
• In case of involuntary flight cancellation, the passenger can rebook and change dates or destination to any alternative Qatar Airways operated flight. 
• Any change or cancellation less than 3 hours prior to the stated time of departure will be considered as no-show, whereby no-show penalties will apply.
• For travel involving multiple booking classes, the most restrictive fare rules apply to the entire itinerary.
• This offer cannot be combined with any other promotion and Seats are limited and are subject to availability.
• Qatar Airways reserves the right to suspend or terminate the offer, for any reason whatsoever at any time, without incurring any cost or liability as a result of using this right, if Terms are breached in any way.
• Qatar Airways' terms and conditions will also apply to your booking, please refer to the fare rules at the time of booking to learn more about the official conditions related to changes, cancellations, and no-shows.

Dynamic fares and special offers 

• Qatar Airways may apply dynamic fares, which are fares adjusted based on a variety of factors such as seat availability and travel period.
• Dynamic fares may vary in real time and do not guarantee a reduction in the grand total to be paid.
• Dynamic fares are non-transferrable, subject to availability at the time of booking, and cannot be applied after a booking has been confirmed. 
• Some passengers may book the same or similar flights yet pay different fares, based on the fares available at the time of booking. 
• Qatar Airways can modify or withdraw any special offers with dynamic fares, at any time and without notice, if this will not affect confirmed bookings.
• None of the above terms and conditions grant the right to specific special offers, or require Qatar Airways to apply any fare to any flight or offer/travel period.
