Redeem Avios & Qcredits
You can redeem your Avios for a wide range of rewards, such as complimentary flights, cabin upgrades and excess baggage allowances with Qatar Airways. In addition, you can use Avios to redeem hotel stays, award flights with our partner airlines, or make purchases at Qatar Duty Free and Oryx Galleria, Doha.
To make your member experience even more rewarding, we have implemented a number of new changes to your redemption activities. See relevant sections below to learn more.
Effective from 27th May 2018, Avios redemption requirements for award tickets will be revised. Please visit our Qcalculator to see revised Avios.
- All partially used tickets whether issued with old fare or new fare, change of date is permitted with applicable fee no additional Avios to be collected (i.e. on originally issued fare)
- All unutilized tickets whether issued with old fare or new fare Avios, member needs to refund and issue fresh award ticket for desired date/destination in same region (no change allowed and refund fee applicable)

Flights on Qatar Airways

Award tickets for First Class are not available on our A380 services to or from London. Business or First Class award flight requests are not available for infants (children younger than two years).
Upgrading tickets, changing flight dates, refunds, and redeeming child and infant tickets can now be done online at your convenience. Learn more.

Pamper yourself by redeeming your Avios for an upgrade to Business or First Class on Qatar Airways. You can also redeem your Avios or Qcredits for an upgrade at the airport when you fly out of Doha and select departure points. Read more.
Effective 5th February 2018, baggage allowance and lounge access will be provided as per originally ticketed cabin. For example, if your original ticket was in Economy cabin with 30kg baggage allowance, even if you upgrade to Business or First your baggage allowance will still be 30kg and not 40kg. Also you will not get First or Business Class lounge access. If you are a Platinum, Gold or Silver member you will get lounge access based on your tier benefit.
