Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport is Serbia’s primary international gateway, offering a modern and efficient start to your global journey from the capital city. As a key transport hub for the region, you can expect a smooth departure experience through its well-organised terminal. To ensure you have plenty of time for check-in and security, we recommend arriving at the airport at least two hours before your scheduled departure.
Getting to the airport is straightforward, located just 18 kilometres west of central Belgrade. The A1 Minibus Service offers a quick and comfortable direct connection from Slavija Square. Alternatively, you can use the city bus line 72, which is a more affordable option with stops throughout the city. Taxis are also readily available, but ensure you agree on the fare beforehand or use a licensed airport transfer service. If you are driving, ample short- and long-term parking spaces are situated near the terminal buildings. Once inside, you will find a variety of shops and dining options to enjoy before you board your flight.
Discover Amman, the energetic capital of the ancient Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. This vibrant cultural and economic powerhouse offers a truly fascinating blend of traditional heritage and modern, cosmopolitan development. You will find a city that embraces the 21st century while proudly celebrating its deep history, creating a distinctly welcoming atmosphere unlike any other in the region.
Dive into Amman's traditional side by visiting the iconic Citadel, the location of the city's ancient predecessor, Rabbath-Ammon. Perched on one of Amman’s highest hills, the Citadel is surrounded by a preserved wall and features the impressive Temple of Hercules and the beautiful Ummayad Palace. For a deeper understanding of Jordan's past and the context of its many monuments, spend time at the internationally renowned Jordan Museum, which houses countless artefacts dating back to the Bronze Age. The city’s rich history is vividly showcased at the magnificent Roman amphitheatre, a beautifully preserved monument from the Roman era. You can also appreciate the vibrant local art scene at Darat al Funun, an intimate gallery that highlights Amman’s contemporary creative culture.
