Pick-up and drop-off points are conveniently positioned right outside the terminal. Car hire is available in the main entrance hall, while regular buses arrive every few minutes. Buses stop on Sultan Qaboos Highway outside of the airport complex. Taxis are available, and a pre-booked limousine service is also available for passengers travelling with certain carriers.
Arriving in Muscat
Qatar Airways flights from Muscat depart from the main terminal. Check the screens as you enter the departures hall to find out which check-in desks are designated for your flight.

Duty-free shopping is available opposite Gate 4 on the ground floor, and a retail outlet selling a selection of magazines, books and goods is located near the east entrance. A choice of food outlets can also be found in the departures area, including Asian eateries, and cafés selling light snacks and coffee.
