Doha, QATAR – Qatar Airways is pleased to announce that it will be sponsoring a concert in Doha by the celebrated Italian pianist Antonio Sardi de Letto.

The concert, which takes place at the Ritz-Carlton in Doha on Saturday September 25, has been an eagerly awaited event, which will be attended by the Italian Ambassador to Qatar, H.E Giuseppe Buccino Grimaldi.

“The Italian Embassy is proud to present the famous and talented pianist Antonio Sardi de Letto,” said H.E Giuseppe Buccino Grimaldi, adding: “We are confident that his programme and his references to Italy will be of great interest to everyone.

“This is the first concert organised by the Italian Embassy. We are determined to pursue our efforts for more events, with a view to stressing the paramount interest Italy attaches to Qatar as 'a land of opportunities' in every field,” he explained.

Although the concert is by special invitation, music enthusiasts interested in attending can book their seats in advance through the Italian Embassy.

Sardi De Letto has performed widely in solo recitals all over Europe, North and South America, the Middle East and Asia. Born in Rome in 1963, de Letto is a graduate of piano from the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in Rome, and a professor of Piano and Piano Literature at the Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music in Rome.
