Berlin, GERMANY– Qatar Airways celebrated its attendance at this year’s ITB Berlin – the world’s largest travel show – by showcasing its award-winning Five Star service and hospitality including a display of its long-haul Boeing 777 Business Class seats.



Qatar Airways Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker held a press conference on the opening day of the five-day event, by announcing plans to boost the airline’s international network this year with the launch of flights to Brazil and Argentina.



By entering the South American market, Qatar Airways’ network will for the first time cover all corners of the globe. The airline has seven new routes lined up during 2010 – Bengaluru (Bangalore) launched last month; Copenhagen (March 30), Ankara (April 5), Tokyo (April 26), Barcelona (June 7), Sao Paulo in Brazil (date to be confirmed) and Buenos Aires in Argentina (date to be confirmed).
