Sao Paulo’s Guarulhos–Governador André Franco Montoro International Airport (also known locally as Cumbica Airport) is the main international airport serving Sao Paulo, Brazil. Its central location and proximity to the country’s main tourist resorts makes it a hugely important passenger hub. It also has the accolade of having the Tropic of Capricorn pass through its southern tip.
Situated on its own island close to the Malay Peninsula, the city state of Singapore is often considered one of the region’s most accessible destinations. It’s a densely packed nation of more than five million people, made up of Chinese, Malay, Eurasian, and Indian residents. Singapore also has a healthy dose of expatriates from around the world.
Although it is distinctly Asian, Singapore’s origins as a British colony are still plain to see. English is an official language alongside Malay, Chinese and Tamil, but this extraordinary locale is much more than a colonial outpost.
Book a flight to Singapore with Qatar Airways and discover a rich, varied and exotic destination that’s full of surprises.
