Doha, QATAR – Qatar Airways today officially opened its brand new sales, reservations and ticketing office in Doha exclusively for First and Business Class customers.
The Premium Sales Office, located on the C-ring road in Umm Ghuwailina, is designed to serve the needs of customers travelling in the premium cabins.
Qatar’s Civil Aviation Authority chairman Abdul Aziz Al Nuaimi was the guest of honour for the official opening where he performed the ribbon and cake-cutting ceremony with Qatar Airways Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker.
The reception was attended by more 100 guests, including corporates and members of Qatar Airways’ Privilege Club frequent flyer programme.
Following the success of Qatar Airways’ award-winning Premium Terminal in Doha which opened more than 12 months ago, the new sales, reservations and ticketing office is based on the same ‘look and feel’ concept – to serve premium customers with the highest levels of attention.
Once they step into the new sales office, visitors will be welcomed by a receptionist and guided to a customer service agent.
Qatar Airways Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker said the new office was a natural extension of the highly successful and innovative Premium Terminal for departing and transiting First and Business Class passengers. “We pride ourselves on offering the best levels of service to our customers, whether it is at our Premium Terminal where First and Business Class passengers can unwind and relax before catching their flight, or onboard our aircraft where hospitality is our renowned hallmark worldwide,” he said.
“The sales office is yet another unique feature offered by Qatar Airways, exclusively for our First and Business Class passengers. From the moment our customers step into the office, they will be assured a hassle-free experience with minimal waiting time.”
The new office is open seven days a week. Between Saturday and Thursday, the office is open from 8am to 10pm; Fridays between 3pm and 10pm.
Qatar Airways opened the world’s first dedicated passenger terminal for First and Business Class passengers in Doha in November 2006. In its first full year of operation, the Premium Terminal and Qatar Airways’ entire First Class offering was ranked second best in the world by the independent industry audit, Skytrax.
Built in just nine months, the 10,000sqm Premium Terminal with its serene water features offers wide ranging facilities from exclusive check-in, duty-free shopping, conference rooms, nursery and play area to spa treatment rooms, saunas, jacuzzis and fine dining restaurants.
