Part A - Promoter and Competition Details

• The Qatar Airways Click Frenzy – Win 2x Economy Class Flights to Europe (hereafter the Competition) is promoted by Qatar Airways Group (Q.C.S.C), ACN 105 742 916 (hereafter the Promoter).

• Information on prizes and how to enter form part of these Terms and Conditions. By entering the Competition, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

• The Competition runs from 12:00 AM AEDT on 26 March 2025 to 11:59 PM AEDT on 30 March 2025. 

Part B – Eligibility Criteria

• Entry is open to all Australian residents aged 18 years or above. 

• Employees of the Promoter’s associated agencies, including Click Frenzy, or companies associated with the Competition and their immediate families, are ineligible to enter.

• The term “Australian residents” means citizens and permanent residents of Australia. Individuals on tourist visa, student visa or any other temporary visa cannot enter this Competition.

• The Promoter reserves the right to verify entry validity and participant eligibility (including identity, age and residence) at any time and reserves the right to disqualify individuals that have breached these Terms and Conditions.

• If requested by the Promoter, a participant must prove evidence of eligibility to the Promoter.

• The Competition is only open to new email subscribers who enter via the official competition page on Qatarairways.com

Part C – How to Enter the Competition

• No entry fee is required to participate.

• To enter, participants must:

• Complete the subscriber form on the Qatar Airways website with their personal details including first name, last name, email and preferred city of departure.

• In 25 words or less, answer: “Tell us your dream European holiday destination and who you want to visit with”

• Only one (1) entry per person is permitted.

• Entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM AEDT on 30 March 2025.

• Entries that are incomplete, incorrect, or deemed inappropriate by the Promoter may be disqualified.

• The Promoter is not responsible for any technical malfunctions, delays, or issues that prevent successful entry submission.

• The competition winner will be drawn on 1 April 2025 at 12:30 PM AEDT at 303 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000.

• The judging will be based on creativity, originality, and relevance to the competition question. The decision of the judge(s) is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Part D – The Prize

• The winner will receive the one major prize consisting of:

• two (2) Qatar Airways Economy Convenience Class return flight tickets departing Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth or Canberra International Airports to Europe or the United Kingdom.

• The total prize value is up to AU$5,000 depending on departure point and travel dates.

• The winner must redeem the prize tickets before 30 June 2025 by following the instructions given by the Promoter to book for flight tickets departing 1 May 2025 and returning no later than 31 March 2026.

• Once the winner has redeemed the prize for flight tickets, no changes to the booking are allowed.

• Prize tickets are inclusive of all relevant taxes and surcharges.

• Travel is subject to availability and may not be available during peak seasons, school holidays and public holidays. The winner may not redeem the prize for travel during any of the following blackout periods: (Outbound from Australia: 27 March – 13 July 2025, 21 August – 30 September 2025, 4 December 2025 – 17 January 2026. Inbound to Australia: 17 April – 26 April 2025, 26 June – 2 August 2025, 18 September – 1 November 2025, 4 December 2025 – 7 February 2026). 

• Further blackout periods may apply. Confirmation of flights may not be immediate.  

• Qatar Airways flights from Canberra will commence from 2 December 2025 via Melbourne. 

• The winner must provide three (3) preferred travel dates (inbound and outbound) when requesting a booking.

• If the prize winner and/or companion are located outside of the chosen city of departure, all travel to and from this location to the airport will be at the winner’s and/or companion's own expense (as the case may be). 

• All components of the prize must be fulfilled at the same time, and they cannot be split across different trips or time periods. The winner and travelling companion must travel and take each component of the prize together at the same time. The winner forfeits any part of the prize not taken at the times stipulated and no cash or alternative prize will be awarded in lieu.

• The winner and their travel companion are responsible for all costs associated with taking the prize, including but not limited to passport and visa/visa waiver costs, insurance, additional accommodation, additional transfers and transport costs, meals, beverages, spending money, excess baggage, travel tests, and any other ancillary costs or costs of a personal nature, other than those expressly stated as being part of the prize in these Terms and Conditions.

• The winner may be required to present a credit card at the time of accommodation check-in.

• The winner and companion will not accrue any frequent flyer points on the prize travel, nor will they have access to Premium airport lounges.

• This prize cannot be exchanged for goods or cash, nor can it be sold to any other person, and is non-transferrable. This prize cannot be upgraded to a higher class of travel.

• The Promoter reserves the right, in its discretion, to substitute a prize or part of a prize that is unavailable due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control for an alternative of equal value and/or comparable specification.

• Qatar Airways takes no responsibility for any liability that may result from, or is claimed to have resulted from, the acceptance or use of this prize except for any liability that Qatar Airways is not permitted to exclude under law.

• If, any aspect of the prize is not capable of running as planned for any reason, including but not limited due to war, terrorism, state of emergency, civil unrest, pandemic, epidemic, computer virus, or any other kind of disaster, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the prize, subject to any written directions from any relevant regulatory authority.

• All documentation and paperwork required for travel, as required by the relevant governments, are the responsibility of the winner and travel companion. Qatar Airways reserves the right to refuse travel if such documentation is not correct or is missing. 

• Terms and conditions of the relevant prize suppliers and third-party service providers apply. Qatar Airways' conditions of carriage apply to all flights.

• The winner will be contacted by phone and email within two (2) business days from the date the Competition ends. All reasonable attempts will be made to contact the winner.

• If a prize is unclaimed by the winner, then the prize will be awarded to a reserve winner. A reference to a winner in these terms includes any reserve winner where a reserve winner has been awarded the prize. The Promoter reserves the right to collect the details of additional participants judged to be the next most passionate and engaged at the Match for this purpose.

Part E – Use of Participants' Details

• Participants’ details will primarily be used for the purpose of awarding the prize. By entering, participants' consent to being contacted by Qatar Airways for future promotional, marketing, and publicity purposes without compensation.

• The Promoter's Privacy Policy and Personal Information Collection Statement can be read in full at https://www.qatarairways.com/en/legal/privacy.html. Our Privacy Policy contains information about how individuals may request access to and corrections of information we hold about them, how to complain about how we handle personal information and how we deal with such complaints. We may disclose personal information to prize organisers and service providers, for the purpose of conducting this Competition, publicising the outcome and coordinating the prize.

Part F – Dispute Resolution

• If a participant has a dispute or complaint regarding the Competition, they must contact the Promoter at rsvpau@au.qatarairways.com. The Promoter will respond within five (5) business days.

• If the participant is dissatisfied with the response, they may request a review. If they remain dissatisfied, they may escalate their complaint to the relevant regulatory body for trade promotions.

Part G – Limitation of Liability and Intellectual Property

• Any intellectual property rights related to the Competition and any associated materials developed by the Promoter remain the property of the Promoter.

• Save for any rights or guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law or other terms implied into a contract that cannot lawfully be excluded, the Promoter and their respective officers, employees, volunteers, agents and prize suppliers exclude:

• any term, condition or warranty that may otherwise be implied into these Terms and Conditions;

• any liability for direct, indirect, special or consequential loss (including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of revenue and loss of opportunity) arising in connection with this Competition and the prizes, including but not limited to where arising out of:

• any tax liability incurred by a participant or the winner;

• any dispute between a participant and any third party relating to the participant's identity or entitlement to a prize; or

• any use or redemption of the prize.

• The Promoter and their respective officers, employees, volunteers, agents and prize suppliers exclude all liabilities described in sub-section 139A(3) of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), except for liability for significant personal injury caused by their reckless conduct within the meaning given in sub-section 139A(5) of that Act. 

• If the Competition is interfered with or not capable of being conducted as anticipated for any reason beyond the Promoter's reasonable control, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, to the fullest extent permitted by law:

• to disqualify any person; or

• to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, subject to any written directions from any relevant regulatory authority.

Part H – Entire Agreement

• These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Promoter and the participant.
