Once you head a little further into Berlin itself you have a greater selection of monuments and attractions to explore. From the iconic Brandenburg Gate in the centre of the city, to the poignant Berlin Wall memorial, Berlin is awash with modern and classical attractions.
It also has a huge number of museums and galleries, with the Pergamon-Museum, Altes Museum and the Bode-Museum all clustered in one small area. Another group of museums and cultural buildings can be found at Kulturforum, close to Potsdamer Platz.
