Arriving at Hamad International Airport
If you are flying from Doha in First or Business Class with Qatar Airways, the most convenient access to the airport is through Entry Gate 1. Economy class passengers will find it easiest to enter the departure hall through Entry Gates 2 and 3.

The Haffa souq has plenty of collectibles on offer, including Frankincense, dates, handicrafts, and souvenirs. Be prepared to haggle.
Al Baleed Archaeological Site is an UNESCO World Heritage Site and internationally important as a record of the ancient civilisation that founded Oman.
Here you’ll also find a museum dedicated to the Frankincense trade – once more important than gold as a religious artefact throughout the Middle East.
To get away from the heat, particularly in the summer, head to Al Haffa Beach, which is very clean, spacious and with excellent snorkelling and diving facilities.
Be aware that during the summer it can get a little crowded as everyone heads to the beach to cool down. A less crowded but equally picturesque option is Dharaiz Beach, well known for its palm trees.
