14:00 GMT+3, 12 March 2026: Qatar Airways Passenger Support and Operational Updates

Qatar Airways continues to support passengers affected by recent operational disruptions beyond our control. Customers stranded in Doha have been provided with accommodation and on-the-ground assistance, while our teams in Doha and across our network continue to assist customers with rebooking requests.

Limited Passenger Flight Schedule

A limited schedule of passenger flights to/from Doha (DOH) are available to book via the Qatar Airways website, and mobile app. You can check our latest flight schedule at http://qatarairways.com/schedule

Qatar Airways is also operating selected non-stop point-to-point services, which have been arranged to help passengers complete their journeys. Customers eligible for these services will be contacted directly by Qatar Airways.

Operational Conditions

Flights are currently operating within a limited safe corridor defined by the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority. Therefore, the number of flights that can operate each day are extremely limited under the current operational conditions. Each flight requires careful planning and remains subject to regulatory approvals and airspace conditions.

Effective 12 April 2026: Changes to Travelling with Power Banks, E Cigarettes, and Vapes

Your safety is our priority. When travelling with Qatar Airways, passengers are permitted to carry power banks, e‑cigarettes, and vapes on board. However, as these electronic devices contain lithium batteries, the following important safety instructions must be observed at all times:

  • A maximum of two (2) power banks per passenger is permitted.
  •  Each power bank must not exceed 100Wh. Further details can be found via IATA – Changes Regarding Power Banks.
  • Do not travel with any lithium battery‑powered equipment or power banks that are, or have been, damaged or recalled by authorities or manufacturers for safety reasons. This also includes the use of damaged or faulty charging cables on board.
  • Where available, use in‑seat USB ports or power sockets to charge portable electronic devices. However, power banks, e‑cigarettes or vapes must not be charged on board.
  • Always apply safety caps or cover air vents on e‑cigarettes or vapes to prevent accidental activation.
  • When stored in your carry‑on baggage, devices containing lithium batteries and loose batteries must be kept away from flammable items, such as perfumes.
  • Do not move your seat, if a device is dropped or becomes lodged in your seat.
  • Immediately inform a member of the cabin crew, who will be happy to assist you in retrieving it safely.
  • Immediately notify cabin crew if your device overheats, emits smoke or fumes, or catches fire.

When using a power bank to charge other allowed electronic devices, it must remain in view. Do not place them inside your carry-on bag or in the overhead bins while in use.

Thank you for helping us keep everyone, including yourself, safe on every journey.
