1. SUMMARY

 The Qatar Airways Holidays x UEFA Champions League 2026/27 Competition (the “Competition”) is operated by Qatar Airways Group Q.C.S.C. with its registered office at P.O. Box 25550, Doha, State of Qatar (the “Sponsor” or “Qatar Airways”). The Competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Meta.‎ ‎The Competition and Prizes are subject to these Official Rules which form a legally binding agreement with respect to this Competition between the Sponsor and each individual who enters the Competition (the “Participant” or “You”).  Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with these rules (the “Official Rules”), you are not eligible to participate in the Competition or to win any of the Prizes. 

2. ELIGIBILITY

2.1 NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.  A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT DOES NOT IMPROVE CHANCES OF WINNING.  The Competition is open to legal residents and citizens of the below listed countries who have reached the age of majority (at least 18 years old) as of the date of entering the Competition, excluding those individuals referred to in Sub-Clause 2.3. Eligible countries: Qatar, UAE, KSA, Australia, India and Thailand.

2.2 By participating in the Competition, each participant (each a “Participant”) confirms that they meet all eligibility requirements in Sub-Clause 2.1 (the "Eligibility Requirements"). Each Participant confirms that they are legally able to collect the prize in the event their entry is selected.  Furthermore, each Participant confirms they are not prohibited or restricted from receiving such prizes, whether individually, geographically, or by virtue of relationships or group affiliation, by the government of any country whose residents are eligible to participate in this Competition.

2.3 Employees, officers, directors and agents of Qatar Airways, and UEFA each of their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings and children, grandparents, first cousins or similar relations) and household members are not eligible to participate in the Competition. 

3. AGREEMENT TO RULES

All Participants must comply with these Official Rules. You agree that registration for this Competition and/or a submission of an entry in the Competition constitutes your agreement to these Official Rules. 

You hereby agree that participation in this Competition constitutes Your agreement to be legally bound by these Official Rules.

4. COMPETITION PERIOD 

4.1 This Competition commences on 12.01am (Arabian Standard Time) on 20 July 2026 and closes at 11.59pm on 31 July 2026 (“Competition Period”).

5. HOW TO ENTER

5.1 You must meet the Eligibility Requirements stated in Sub-Clause 2.1 and participate during the Competition Period stated in Sub-Clause 4.1 by following the instructions below during the Competition Period: 

Step 1: Participants will need to enter the competition by completing and successfully submitting all mandatory fields of the newsletter form located at qatarairways.com/ucl (No purchase necessary)

Step 2: Answer the following questions as part of that same form:

1 Which club won the UEFA Champions League in both 2024/25 and 2025/26?

(a) Paris Saint-Germain

(b) Real Madrid

(c) Manchester City

(d) Bayern München

2 In 50 words or fewer, tell us about your most memorable UEFA Champions League moment and why it means something to you.

Only entries that answer Part (a) correctly will be considered for judging. Entries that answer Part A correctly will then be ranked on Part B according to the criteria in Clause 7.4.

Step 3: Participants must verify their email address by clicking on the link contained in an email requesting confirmation of the Participant’s subscription to the newsletter.

5.2 Only one entry is eligible from each Participant. Subsequent multiple entries from the same Participant will be void and will not be considered for the Competition.

5.3 If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, any and all of your submissions may be deemed ineligible at the sole discretion of Qatar Airways.

5.4 By entering the Competition, the Participant agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions applicable to any prize won.

5.5 All entries must be received and recorded during the Competition period. 

5.6 Normal mobile data or internet access and usage charges imposed by your mobile phone or internet service provider will apply.  

5.7 Sponsor assumes no responsibility or liability for (a) any incorrect or inaccurate registration or entry information, or for any faulty, failed, garbled or jumbled electronic data transmissions; (b) any unauthorized access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of entries at any point in the operation of this Competition; (c) any technical malfunction, failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers utilized in any aspect of the operation of the Competition; and (d) inaccessibility or unavailability of the internet; or (e) any injury or damage to participant’s or to any other person’s computer or cell phone which may be related to or result from any attempt to participate in the Competition.

6. PRIZES

6.1 Subject to the Prize restrictions stated in clause 8 below, and the eligibility and entry requirements stated in clauses 2 and 5 above, there is ONE (1) Prize:

- One (1) winner will receive two (2) tickets to a UEFA Champions League 2026/27 – League Phase match of their choice, subject to ticket availability.

- The winner will receive two (2) tickets: one ticket for the winner and one ticket for a guest nominated by the Winner. 

- Flights, accommodation, visas, transfers, travel insurance and any other expenses are not included in the Prize and shall be the sole responsibility of the Winner and their guest.

- The total prize value is estimated at up to QAR 1,275 per winner, based on two (2) UEFA Champions League 2026/27 – League Phase match tickets and subject to the selected fixture, seat category and ticket face value determined by the host club. This is equivalent to approximately EUR 300, USD 353, AED 1,297, SAR 1,323, AUD 544, INR 30,095 and THB 11,380. Currency conversions are indicative only and based on exchange rates as of 14 July 2026. Actual values may vary due to exchange rate fluctuations.

7. WINNER’S SELECTION

7.1 At the end of the Competition Period, the prize winner will be selected by a panel of judges.   This is a game of skill.  Chance plays no part in determining a winner. Winning entries will be those that the panel considers to be the most inspiring, creative and which most closely meet the criteria specified in clause 7.3 below. 

7.2 The judging panel is constituted by the following representatives of the Promoter and its chosen partners: 

- Representative from Qatar Airways – Manager Sponsorships

- Representative from Qatar Airways Holidays – Sports Manager

- Representative from Qatar Airways Holidays – Digital Marketing Manager

The panel will meet by 31 August 2026 to consider the entries. The panel's decisions will be recorded in writing and are final.

7.3 The Promoter reserves the right to make changes to the judging panel in its sole discretion.

7.4 All entries will be judged based on the following criteria: 

• Football knowledge and connection to the UEFA Champions League

• Originality and creativity of the response

Quality of writing and ability to communicate enthusiasmIn the event of a tie, the earlier verified entry (by date and time of submission) will be preferred.

7.5 Each Potential Winner will be sent a Prize announcement by email and telephone to each Potential Winner (“Prize Announcement”). 

7.6 Potential Winners shall be required to sign and return via email at holidays@qatarairways.com.qa the affidavit of eligibility and liability release (collectively, the “Release”) provided by the Sponsor within seventy two (72) hours of the email referred to in Sub-clause 7.5 above, together with all or any additional documents or details which Qatar Airways may require,  in order to receive the Prize. 

7.7 Potential Winners will be required to confirm acceptance of the Prize at the same time as submitting the Release. 

7.8 If a Potential Winner meets all of the requirements of this Clause 7, then the Potential Winner will be deemed to be a “Winner”. If a Potential Winner:

(i) does not meet the Eligibility Requirements; 

(ii) does not respond to the Prize Announcement within the period specified in Sub-Clause 7.6 by the Sponsor;

(iii) does not wish to receive a Prize; 

(iv) refuses or fails to provide any verification information requested from the Sponsor;

(v) fails to return the Release within the specified timeframe; 

(vi) does not react to the Prize Announcement;

or

(vii) is disqualified on inter alia any grounds referred to in these Official Rules by Qatar Airways acting reasonably;

that Potential Winner’s Prize will be forfeited and the judging panel will select a new winner as per the process described above in clauses 7.1 – 7.4

7.9 If a Potential Winner is not awarded a Prize for any of the reasons set out in Sub-Clause 7.8, then at Qatar Airways’ discretion, acting reasonably and in accordance with applicable law, the Prize in question may either be completely forfeited (i.e. no replacement winner will be chosen), or the selection process described in Sub-Clauses 7.1-7.4 may be repeated. In case where the selection process described in Sub-Clauses 7.1-7.4 is repeated, Potential Winners may be contacted after the deadline specified under Sub-Clause 7.10.

7.10 Qatar Airways will use best endeavours to contact winners by 7 September 2026.

8. PRIZE RESTRICTIONS 

8.1 Prizes are provided “as is” and without any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied in fact or in law of any kind, and without any implied warranty of merchantability (or other warranty as to quality) or fitness for a particular purpose to the fullest extent permitted by law, and subject to the respective terms or policies of the Sponsor  available here https://editorial.uefa.com/resources/02a3-201ce3c5797e-3e34b92581f9-1000/uclf_2026_gp_fans_terms_and_conditions_en.pdf)   A Potential Winner who is ineligible for a Prize or is unable to or who does not accept or utilize a Prize, for any reason whatsoever, will  have  no claim against the Sponsor for any reason whatsoever and arising out of whatsoever cause. 

8.2 Prizes are non-extendable, non-transferable and non-cashable. No cash redemption or prize substitutions by Winners are allowed except where applicable laws require otherwise.  If a Prize is not redeemed no compensation will be provided.

8.3 Each Winner is responsible for any and all fees, charges, and federal, state or local taxes applicable to the Prize, which may not be issued without payment for taxes including withholding taxes and fees. Where required by law, each Winner may have to pay withholding taxes to Sponsor for the latter to fulfil its tax obligations. 

8.5. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any Participant or Potential Winner who (without limitation) tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Competition, provides false information, fails to provide information, conspires with others to gain an unfair advantage, or is otherwise involved in any way in manipulating, interfering, or tampering with the conduct of the Competition, or violates these Official Rules, or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A PARTICIPANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE COMPETITION MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TOGETHER WITH ANY LEGAL COSTS INCURRED AS A RESULT THEREOF.

8.6 The Participant will have no  claim against the Sponsor and its agencies for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications or any other technical fault or failure which prevents a person from entering the Competition, whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Competition which may limit the ability to participate or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this Competition.  The Sponsor reserves the right to modify or cancel the Competition in accordance with applicable laws if it becomes technically corrupted or for no reason at all. If so required by law, the Sponsor shall duly inform Participants in accordance with applicable laws.

8.7 Prize Restrictions:  

(i) The Winner must nominate their guest, in writing, within fourteen (14) days of accepting the Prize. If the Winner does not nominate a guest within this period, the second ticket will be forfeited. 

(ii) The Winner may change their nominated guest at any time up to seven (7) days before the date of the match, by written notice to the Sponsor. 

(iii) If the nominated guest is unable to attend the match, the Winner may nominate a replacement guest, provided that written notice is given to the Sponsor no later than seven (7) days before the date of the match. 

(iv) The guest must be at least 18 years old and must meet the same eligibility requirements as the Winner (other than the requirement to have entered the Competition).

(v) The validity period for the Prize tickets may not be extended and Prize tickets may not be rebooked. If the Prize is not redeemed, no compensation will be provided. 

(vi) Winner is responsible for any and all, fees, security and passenger facility charges applicable to the Prize, which may not be issued without payment for taxes and fees (except as specified otherwise in the voucher).

(vii) Winner is responsible for the arrangement and cost of visa(s), passport(s), and transportation to and from the point of origin, meals, health documents required by the relevant government authorities and other travel expenses unless stated otherwise (including in respect of any quarantine or isolation requirements that may be in operation in any jurisdiction).

(viii) The Prize tickets do not entitle the Winner to any mileage credit as part of the Qatar Airways Privilege Club program or any other Qatar Airways reward programs. The Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or promotional fare offer by Qatar Airways or third party. 

(ix) All travel and accommodation arrangements must be booked through Qatar Airways Holidays, in compliance with instructions that will be given to the Winners.  Winners must travel together with their companion. Winners are responsible for accommodation, visa(s), passport(s), and transportation to and from the specified departure city, and/or lodging expenses, meals, and other travel expenses other than those explicitly specified in the Prize description above. 

(x) Sponsor is not liable for any expense incurred as a consequence of a flight cancellation or flight delay. 

(xi) Travel is subject to availability, which are subject to change in the sole discretion of the Sponsor. 

(xii) Flight schedules are subject to change without notice. 

(xiii) Flight is subject to Qatar Airways Conditions of Carriage available at https://www.qatarairways.com/en-qa/legal/conditions-of-carriage.html

9. PUBLICITY RELEASE 

By accepting the Prize, the Winner may be asked to consent to Qatar Airways using the Winner's name and country of residence in advertising, promotional and publicity material connected with the Competition, including on Qatar Airways' website, mobile application and official social media accounts. Consent to publicity use is voluntary and will be requested separately at the time of prize acceptance. Acceptance of the Prize is not conditional on the Winner giving consent to publicity use.

10. PRIVACY

10.1 Personal data submitted in connection with the Competition will be processed to allow you to participate in the Competition, allow us to administer the Competition, where you are a Potential Winner to inform you of this, to process the delivery of and distribution of the Prizes, to measure the response to Competition and for any other purposes disclosed in these Official Rules. We will process your personal data based on the Official Rules of this Competition, in accordance with Qatar Airways Privacy Notice (as may be amended from time to time) located at https://www.qatarairways.com/en/legal/privacy.html and as permitted by law. If you decline to provide the information required for your participation in the Competition, we will not be able to enter you into the Competition or award you a Prize. 

10.2 As Sponsor of the Competition, we may process your name, email address, your country of residence, age verification documentation and personal identification documentation in accordance with applicable laws. We will retain any personal data provided for a maximum of ninety (90) days from the travel date except where a longer retention period is required to meet the Sponsor's legal, tax or audit obligations (in which case the personal data will be retained for the period required by that obligation and no longer).

10.3 Winners of the Competition may be required to consent that their submitted proof of identity and proof of residency information can be collected, used, and disclosed, in accordance with applicable laws for the purpose of verifying a Winner’s eligibility.

10.4 Personal data provided in connection with the Competition may be transferred to, and processed in, countries outside the Participant's country of residence, including Qatar. Any such transfer will be carried out in accordance with the Qatar Airways Privacy Notice and applicable data protection laws, and appropriate safeguards will be put in place where required.

11. RELEASE OF LIABILITY 

A Potential Winner who is ineligible for a Prize, or is unable to or who does not accept or utilize a Prize, for any reason will not make any claim against the Sponsor, their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, employees, officers, directors, representatives, mandataries, and agents, Qatar Airways Group Q.C.S.C. (collectively, the “Releasees”). Nothing in these Official Rules will operate to exclude or restrict any liability that cannot be excluded or restricted in respect of death or personal injury resulting from negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation or for any matter for which it is not permitted by law to exclude or limit, or to attempt to exclude or limit, liability. SPONSOR'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE COMPETITION SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE VALUE OF ONE PRIZE. THE RELEASEES‎ SHALL  FURTHERMORE NOT BE LIABLE TO PARTICIPANTS FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE COMPETITION OR THESE OFFICIAL RULES INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFIT, LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY, OR REVENUE. NOTHING IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES SHALL OPERATE TO EXCLUDE OR LIMIT SPONSOR'S OR ITS AFFILIATES' LIABILITY FOR ANY OTHER LIABILITY WHICH MAY NOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED BY THE CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS OF THE COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE OF THE PARTICIPANT.

QATAR AIRWAYS MAY WITHDRAW OR CANCEL OR POSTPONE THE COMPETITION TO LATER DATES WITH OR WITHOUT A REASON WITHOUT INCURRING ANY LIABILITY OR COST WHATSOEVER AS A RESULT OF USING THIS ENTITLMENT. HOWEVER, ONCE A PRIZE HAS BEEN AWARDED AND A POTENTIAL WINNER HAS BECOME A WINNER, SUCH WITHDRAWAL, CANCELLATION  OR POSTPONING WILL NOT OCCUR. 

12. FORCE MAJEURE 

EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE EXPRESSLY SET OUT IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES QATAR AIRWAYS AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, DIVISIONS, AND ITS EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY FAILURE TO PERFORM, OR DELAY IN PERFORMANCE , OR PARTIAL PERFORMANCE OF, ANY OF THEIR RESPECTIVE OBLIGATIONS THAT ARE CAUSED BY EVENTS OUTSIDE OF THEIR REASONABLE CONTROL. QATAR AIRWAYS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE IF THE COMPETITION TERMINATES OR ANY PRIZE CANNOT BE USED OR REDEEMED DUE TO (WITHOUT LIMITATION) ACTS OF GOD, WAR, TERRORISM, EXPLOSIONS, FIRES, FLOODS, EPIDEMIC, PANDEMIC OR OTHER NATURAL CALAMITIES, BAD WEATHER, STRIKES, RIOT, CIVIL DISRUPTION, INTERNET FAILURES, OR ACTS OF THE WINNER, OR FOR ANY OTHER OCCURRENCES WHICH ARE OUTSIDE OF QATAR AIRWAYS’ REASONABLE CONTROL.

13. DISCLAIMERS

Where permitted by law, if this Competition cannot be administered as contemplated for any reason which is not caused by the Sponsor, the Sponsor reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion in accordance and with applicable laws, to modify or terminate the Competition, Winner selection, or Prizes without prior notice.

14. COUNTRY-SPECIFIC WITHDRAWAL OR MODIFICATION

The Sponsor reserves the right, at any time and in its sole discretion, to suspend, modify or withdraw the Competition in any country if:

(a) a regulator, court or governmental authority in that country objects to the Competition, requires changes to it, or indicates that it may not be conducted lawfully as designed;

(b) a permit, licence, notification or other regulatory step is required in that country and has not been obtained or completed; or

(c) the Sponsor otherwise considers, acting reasonably, that continuing the Competition in that country carries a legal or regulatory risk.

If the Competition is suspended, modified or withdrawn in a particular country, the Sponsor will use reasonable efforts to notify Participants in that country. Participants who have already entered will not be entitled to any compensation, but no Participant will be worse off than they were before entering.

15. GOVERNING LAW AND COMPETENT JURISDICTIONS 

This Competition including the Official Rules in addition to all issues and questions concerning this Competition will be governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Qatari courts, as well as applicable to eligible countries participating in the giveaway, without regard to conflict of law provisions, and any dispute arising from or relating to the conduct of this Competition shall be determined by binding arbitration in Qatar. THIS COMPETITION IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.

Where, in relation to contracts with consumers (being individuals acting in a private capacity), the laws of your country of residence (“Laws”) require that:

1. The Laws shall apply to any such contract; and

2. You may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence (“Courts”),

then the Competition and these Official Rules shall be governed by the Laws and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts

16. SEVERABILITY

The invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability of any portion or provision of these Official Rules shall in no way affect the validity, legality, or enforceability of any other portion or provision hereof. Any invalid, illegal, or unenforceable portion or provision shall be deemed severed from these Official Rules and the balance of these Official Rules shall be construed and enforced as if these Official Rules did not contain such invalid, illegal, or unenforceable portion or provision.
