Benefit from Complimentary Transit Accommodation when flying with us. You may be eligible if you meet the following criteria:
- There are no flights to your next destination, marketed or operated by Qatar Airways, within eight hours of your arrival in Doha.
- A minimum of one flight in your itinerary has to be marketed and operated by Qatar Airways, while the other flights can be marketed by Qatar Airways and operated by a partner airline.
If you’re eligible, you’ll receive a voucher for your hotel stay and any optional add-ons. Be sure to book at least three days before departure.

You can request a visa application when completing your Complimentary Transit Accommodation booking with Discover Qatar. Over 100 nationalities qualify for visa-free entry. Remember to check the entry requirements for Qatar before you fly.

- Complimentary Transit Accommodation cannot be booked within three days before a flight to Doha. If there are less than three days before departure, please check at the transfer desk upon arrival at Hamad International Airport.
- The provision of Complimentary Transit Accommodation is at the sole discretion of Qatar Airways. It will only be provided when select fare types apply to the flight booking.
- You will be redirected to Discover Qatar’s website to complete your Complimentary Transit Accommodation booking. A confirmed booking does not guarantee entry into the State of Qatar. This is entirely at the discretion of the Qatar Immigration Authority. All visas are approved and issued at the sole discretion of the Ministry of Interior. Neither Qatar Airways nor Discover Qatar are liable if entry is not granted.
- Transit accommodation, whether complimentary or paid, is not available to:
- Young solo travellers aged 5 to 11 years
- Young passengers aged 12 to 15 years travelling alone
- Passengers who have requested special services
- If you book Complimentary Transit Accommodation, your checked baggage can only be claimed at your final destination. If you would like to claim it during your transit in Doha, your ticket must be reissued to include a Qatar Stopover in your journey instead of Complimentary Transit Accommodation. Additional fees will apply.
- Fees may apply depending on the fare type.
