QATAR DUTY FREE OPENS MULTI-BRAND SPORTS STORE INPLAY AT HAMAD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

DOHA, Qatar  –  Qatar Duty Free (QDF) is proud to announce the opening of its new sportswear concept store, InPlay, at Hamad International Airport (HIA). The new outlet offers a wide range of sportswear, equipment and accessories for men, women and children.

“Qatar Duty Free is delighted to introduce InPlay, a new multi-brand sports concept store that we have developed internally with our retail team,” said Senior Vice President Qatar Duty Free, Keith Hunter. “We believe we have brought together a strong collection of sporting items, clothing and brands that cater to the type of passengers travelling through Qatar on both business and leisure. It is unusual for an airport to carry such an extensive range of sporting apparel, but we know that our customers are going to appreciate the fact that they can pick up a pair of trainers, sunglasses or a new tennis racket while they are travelling.”

With something for everyone from the business traveller who wants to work out at his hotel but forgot to pack his trainers to the holiday traveller looking for a new pair of sunglasses, InPlay caters to all types of passengers passing through HIA. This includes fans of FC Barcelona, who will find a selection of branded sports kit on sale at InPlay.

Brands available at InPlay include Nike (for shoes, sunglasses, apparel), Arena (for swimwear and swimming accessories), Babolat (for tennis rackets and bags), Dunlop (for badminton sets, squash rackets and balls, and tennis balls), Zem (for shoes), Hickies plastic shoe laces, Crocs shoes, Oakley sunglasses and much more.

At HIA, QDF offers 40,000 square metres of combined retail, food and beverage facilities, establishing the retailer as a premier shopping and dining destination. With more than 70 retail outlets offering an unprecedented selection of designer labels, fashion, electronics, gourmet foods and much more, Qatar Duty Free at HIA caters to all passengers’ tastes.

In addition, more than 30 cafés and restaurants offer a sumptuous selection of global and local cuisine. Other luxury brands also available at HIA include: Bulgari, Hermès, Giorgio Armani, Hugo Boss, Mont Blanc, Rolex and Chanel.
