Portugal

One of the most popular and best vacation spots, Portugal is full of charm. Start your journey in Lisbon, where you can hop aboard a vintage tram and admire the city’s historic neighbourhoods. Next, head north to Porto and glide along the Douro River past terraced vineyards and elegant bridges. From there, take a day trip to Sintra to marvel at the colourful turrets and romantic gardens of the iconic Pena. For a slower rhythm, hire a car and drive along the coastline to discover golden beaches.

Greece

Set off on a trip to Greece to wander through the mainland and islands. Why not begin in Athens, where the Acropolis is a must-see for its ancient reliefs and statues? Then climb the towering Mount Olympus, the home of Greece’s legends and fables, or step inside the huge Melissani Cave near Sami, a fascinating natural attraction. Don’t forget to visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites like Delphi and Mycenae. The great Greek poet Homer immortalised Mycenaean civilisation in his epic, the Iliad.

Italy is one of the best places to visit for families and couples. Summer is the ideal time for a holiday in beautiful Tanzania. Go on safaris through the country’s magnificent game reserves to see Africa’s Big Five in the wild. If you’re a true adventurer, join a guided climb of Mount Kilimanjaro, one of Africa’s iconic natural wonders.
