Koh Samui: A Thai island oasis

Book your visit to Koh Samui

Koh Samui is a shimmering gem in the Gulf of Thailand, where lush jungles, idyllic beaches and turquoise waters create an enchanting Southeast Asian escape. Known for its relaxed island vibes and vibrant Thai culture, Koh Samui is both a peaceful retreat and a playground for adventures.

Explore scenic architectural wonders, secret waterfalls in the rainforest and mesmerising beaches. Each area has a different story to tell, from bustling markets to aromatic street food and a lively atmosphere. Whether you are snorkelling among stunning corals, sipping fresh coconut water or watching the sunset at a beachside café, each moment in Koh Samui is captivating.

Things to do in Koh Samui

The majestic Wat Phra Yai, also known as the Big Buddha Temple, is one of the top attractions in Koh Samui. Situated on Koh Fan, it is easily accessible by a causeway connected to the main island. Nearby in Wat Plai Laem, an amazing sight awaits – an 18-armed Guanyin statue surrounded by a lotus-filled lake.

For a dash of mystery, head to Tarnim Magic Garden located atop a hillside. Also known as the Secret Buddha Garden, discover moss-covered statues tucked amongst the trees. Close by is Wat Khunaram, home to the well-preserved mummified monk, Luang Pho Daeng.

Animal lovers will adore the Samui Elephant Sanctuary. Spend time learning about the rehabilitation of these gentle giants – feed and walk alongside them while observing their playful behaviour.

Of course, Koh Samui is best known for its beaches, and there’s certainly no shortage of them. Lamai Beach is a popular choice for its laid-back vibes. Alternatively, visit Coral Cove, which offers a private slice of paradise.
