Qatar Airways flight operations remain temporarily suspended due to the closure of Qatari airspace mandated by the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority to ensure the highest level of safety for our passengers and crew.
Flights will resume once the current airspace closure is lifted by the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority in line with regional developments and other airspace resumptions. Our teams are actively working on recovery plans, and passengers will be rebooked in phases as we progressively activate our network.
I had checked in for my fight when my flight was cancelled. Qatar Airways arranged my hotel accommodation. How long will my room be available for and do I need to pay for my room?
Your room will be available for the duration of your stay in Qatar. You do not need to pay for your room. Qatar Airways will provide you with all further information when it is available with regard your ongoing flight.
I was checked in to my hotel in Qatar when the disruption began. Do I need to pay for additional nights in my accommodation while the air space is closed?
You do not need to pay for any additional nights’ stay beyond your original booking. All hotels have been instructed to extend their guests stay until you are able to fly. If your hotel requests additional payment for your room, you should contact your original booking provider, tour operator or travel agent for them to resolve on your behalf.
Your baggage will remain securely stored and will be retagged automatically when you are rebooked. No action is required from your side unless advised.
