Where can I get the latest information regarding airspace closures and whether Qatar Airways is operating?

Qatar Airways will update the latest position regarding its flights on its website: qatarairways.com and on our X channel.

What number should I call if I need any assistance regarding my hotel stay?

Qatar Airways has deployed dedicated teams at the hotels to assist you during the below timings:

Why are flights disrupted and airspace closed?

Qatar Airways flight operations remain temporarily suspended due to the closure of Qatari airspace mandated by the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority to ensure the highest level of safety for our passengers and crew.

 

When will flights resume and when will I be rebooked?

Flights will resume once the current airspace closure is lifted by the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority in line with regional developments and other airspace resumptions. Our teams are actively working on recovery plans, and passengers will be rebooked in phases as we progressively activate our network.

 

What support will Qatar Airways provide while I am accommodated in a hotel?

·       Accommodation

·       Meals or meal vouchers

·       Transport between hotel and airport (if applicable)

·       Medical assistance coordination

 

What will happen to my checked baggage during this disruption?

Your baggage will remain securely stored and will be retagged automatically when you are rebooked. No action is required from your side unless advised. Should you need further assistance with your baggage, please approach the dedicated Qatar Airways team at the hotels, or contact Baggage Service on +974 4010 1812 / +974 4010 5586.

 

How often will Qatar Airways provide updates?

We will provide operational updates at regular intervals via SMS, email, website, mobile app, and Qatar Airways X channel.

 

Should I call the Contact Centre to request updates or rebooking?

Due to the scale of the disruption and ongoing airspace restrictions, rebooking and repatriation will be managed in phases as operations gradually resume. Calling the Contact Centre will not expedite your rebooking at this stage.

What if I require medical support or special assistance during my stay?

For emergencies, dial 999. For non-emergency medical queries, please speak to available staff at your hotel.

 

What if my visa or travel documents expire due to the delay?

Qatar Airways will coordinate with relevant authorities where required and guide affected passengers accordingly by contacting them directly.

 

Who is managing this disruption and passenger support?

A dedicated crisis management team within Qatar Airways is actively overseeing passenger welfare, flight recovery, and rebooking arrangements across all affected locations.
