Extend and revalidate Avios

Your Avios are valid for a minimum of three years and expire at the end of the half-year period in which they were earned. For example, Avios earned between January and June 2017 will expire on 30 June, 2020 and Avios earned between July and December 2017 will expire on 31 December, 2020.

To find out the expiry date of your Avios, log into your membership account to view your dashboard.

With our updated programme features – Extend and Revalidate Avios – you can now extend the validity of Avios about to expire in the next expiry period or recover Avios that expired in the previous expiry period online, for a fee.

Simply log into your account and go to the “Extend and Revalidate Avios page.

Effective 11 March 2018, we will no longer be processing this service through our ticketing offices and contact centres.

To extend or revalidate Avios, log in to your membership account, click on “My Services” from the menu and select either “Extend Avios” or “Revalidate Avios”.

For Platinum members, Avios will not expire as long as you retain your Platinum tier. To know more about our membership benefits, click here.
