Qatar Airways Revamps Privilege Club Website

Doha, QATAR – Qatar Airways has relaunched the website of its Privilege Club frequent flyer programme to provide members with greater benefits and easier management of their Privilege Club accounts.

Through the Privilege Club website, www.qmiles.com members will be able to log on and check their account balance online, as well as request reward tickets for travel on Qatar Airways and partner airlines.

Members will also be able to review their Privilege Club statements, as well as update their personal profiles and nominate family members into the loyalty club’s family programme.

With a wide range of Qatar Airways destinations to choose from around the world, Privilege Club members have the opportunity to accrue and redeem Qmiles on a global network spanning Europe, Middle East, Africa, Indian subcontinent and the Far East.

Qatar Airways is one of the fastest growing airlines in the world, operating scheduled flights from its Doha hub, capital of the State of Qatar, to 69 destinations. Together with its codeshare partners, the airline serves more than 80 cities worldwide.

Qatar Airways Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker said that Privilege Club had developed in a short few years into one of the biggest airline loyalty schemes in the Middle East.

“We are excited to give our Privilege Club members more benefits through the new website which will vastly improve our service levels to them,” he said.

Over the past two months, Qatar Airways has launched flights to Nairobi, Madrid and Berlin. The airline begins daily scheduled flights to Hong Kong on March 26.

Doha-based Qatar Airways will operate a fleet of 110 aircraft by 2013 – almost double the existing size. Qatar Airways has ordered 80 Airbus A350s, 60 Boeing 787s and 32 Boeing 777s, with deliveries of the latter having started in November 2007. The airline is a launch customer of the twin-deck Airbus A380 ‘super jumbos’ with five aircraft on order and scheduled for delivery from 2010.
