Iftar onboard select flights

When the sun sets onboard select Qatar Airways flights, the cabin crew will announce Iftar time to help passengers break their fast and will invite them to indulge in an appetising feast. First and Business Class passengers can enjoy a refreshing Jallab drink – a famous Ramadan beverage that's made from date molasses and rose water – as well as seven dates, honey, and a banana smoothie all served alongside a glowing lantern. Economy passengers will also receive a special Iftar box in addition to regular meal service. The box includes a selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian wraps, a date box, laban, and water.
Ramadan at Hamad International Airport

Hamad International Airport's (HIA) Al Safwa First Class Lounge and Al Mourjan Business Class Lounge will announce the prayer call for passengers to utilize the readily available prayer spaces. Travelers can choose from a selection of traditional Ramadan favorites in the lounges for a fulfilling dining experience.

The World's Best Airport has more than 18 spacious prayers rooms with dedicated facilities to make Wudu to accomodate traveler's spiritual needs. Passengers can enjoy Iftar at one of HIA's incredible dining options including Harrod's Tea Room, Armani Ristorante, and Evergreens Organics.
Programs onboard

Enjoy a variety of Ramadan-themed content for the whole family on your personal in-flight entertainment screen during the month of Ramadan.

To mark the Holy Month, several programs were added to our library of 4,000 entertainment options. These include general talk shows about Islam, movies and television programs featuring stories from Islam’s history, and cooking shows with various Ramadan-inspired recipes.

In addition, our audio library has also been augmented with the addition of Qatari reciters of the Holy Qura’an. Passengers are encouraged to remain seated while praying, and can look at the in-flight map for the direction of the Kaaba.

Fares are roundtrip, per person, and include all applicable taxes, fees and fuel surcharges (which are subject to change due to currency fluctuations). The breakdown will be shown during the online booking process.
