Stroll the cobblestone streets of Old Town Tbilisi, where you can find Narikala, a fortress from the 4th century. While visiting the fortress, be sure to greet the Mother of Georgia, an aluminum statue erected to commemorate the 1500^th anniversary of the city. In her hands she holds a bowl of wine in the left for her friends and a sword in the right for her enemies, which is said to symbolize Georgia’s national character.
