NEW YORK, USA – Qatar Airways is thrilled to announce its award-winning Qsuite is debuting in “The City of Brotherly Love” for passengers flying out of Philadelphia International Airport. Having departed for the first time on September 3, 2019, the acclaimed Business Class product will operate daily for those who wish to experience a new level of luxury and innovation. Philadelphia is the eighth gateway in the U.S. to operate the “First in Business” product.

Qatar Airways Senior Vice President of the Americas, Eric Odone, said: “The rapid expansion of our award-winning Qsuite showcases the one-of-a-kind product’s demand from not only the airline’s most frequent flyers, but for those seeking a new style of traveling, demonstrating Qatar Airways’ dedication to delivering opulence and class in the sky. Since Qatar Airways started operating in Philadelphia International Airport five years ago, we have received endless praise from the passengers we have had the pleasure of flying overseas. The positive feedback has been overwhelming, and we are committed to ensuring that Philadelphians have an experience on Qatar Airways that every time is even better than their last.”

Launched in 2014, the Philadelphia to Doha route has greatly expanded connectivity to India, the Middle East, East Asia and Australia via Qatar Airways’ state-of-the-art hub Hamad International Airport (HIA). Qatar Airways recommends travelers from the city explore diverse destinations around the world with seamless connections to exhilarating destinations such as Mumbai, India; Singapore; Sydney, Australia; Bangkok, Thailand and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Qatar Airways proudly launched Qsuite at ITB Berlin in March 2017 to outstanding global acclaim, and has set a new standard for luxury travel with this innovative product. The first of its kind, the Qsuite features double beds within customizable private cabins for up to four people, allowing passengers to create spaces of togetherness or individual privacy. In addition, sliding doors and dine-on-demand further permit an experience tailored to the passenger’s needs, as they are attended to per their request and not a predetermined schedule. Effortlessly wrapped into one product, these features guarantee an environment that is unlike those on any other airline. The journey does not begin upon arrival at the destination, but upon departure.

Qatar Airways became the first airline to win the ‘World’s Best Airline’ for the fifth time; showcasing its consistency in providing the best for its passengers. The award was presented at the 2019 World Airline Awards, managed by international air transport rating organization, Skytrax. It was also named ‘World’s Best Business class’ for the fourth consecutive year, ‘Best Airline in the Middle East’ for the third successive year, and ‘World’s Best Business Class Seats’.

Qatar Airways currently operates a modern fleet of more than 250 aircraft via its hub, Hamad International Airport (HIA) to more than 160 destinations worldwide. Qatar Airways has recently launched an array of exciting new destinations, including Rabat, Morocco; Izmir, Turkey; Malta; Davao, Philippines; Lisbon, Portugal; Mogadishu, Somalia, to name just a few.
